RICHIBUCTO, NB - Doris Marie Allain, 82, wife of the late Laurie Joseph Allain, of Richibucto, NB, passed away at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital, Moncton on Monday, January 12, 2004 after a brief illness. Born in Trois Ruisseaux, NB, she was a daughter of the late Albert (Abbé) Arsenault and the late Philomene (Leger) Arsenault. She attended St. Louis de Gonzague Roman Catholic Church, Richibucto and was a member of the C.W.L. and the Golden Age Club. She is survived by eight daughters, Cecile Meade (John) of Fredericton, Leontine Legault (Michel) of Richibucto, Denise Robichaud (Maurice) of Richibucto, Jacinthe Savoie (Roger) of Dieppe, Aurena Murray (Bernard) of Fredericton, Geraldine Allain of St. Louis de Kent, Monique Martin (Yvon) of Richibucto, Laurida Ells (Phillip) of Grand Manan; three sons, Albert (Lucy) of Hamilton, Ronald (Carmen) of St. Charles, Clarence (Monique) of Truro, NS; three sisters, Huberte Throop (late Edmond) of Sackville, Alma Vautour (Edgar) of Barachois, Bernadette Leger (Donald) of Boston; three brothers, Marc Arsenault (Geraldine) of Cap Pele, Adrien Arsenault (Laura) of Cap Pele, Irene Arsenault (late Irene) of Cap Pele; four sisters-in-law, Rita Mazerolle (late Edmond), Yvette Allain (late Armand), Yvonne Allain (late Arture), Emilia Allain (late Emile); one brother-in-law, Joseph Allain (late Jeannine); 13 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by one sister, Ozelie; and two brothers, Alcide and Aldrice (Marguerite). Resting at Thompson's Funeral Home, Richibucto with visitation on Tuesday from 7 to 9 pm, Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm, and Thursday from Noon until time of funeral. The Funeral Service will be held at St. Louis de Gonzague Roman Catholic Church, Richibucto on Thursday, January 15, 2004 at 2:00 pm. Interment will take place in Aldouane Roman Catholic Church Cemetery in the spring. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital, Muscular Dystrophy Society or donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
