Mrs. Alphie Leger Shediac, June 9 -
The passing of Mrs. Alphie Landry (Nee Marceline Landry), of Dupuis Corner, was learned with regret by her wide circle of friends. She died at her home at the age of 56 years. Twice married, she leaves three children by her first husband, Napoleon Landry. They are Mrs. Dosithe Brun, of Cape Bald, Ovila Landry, and Emile Landry, both of Dupuis Corner, and four children by her second husband, Archangella, Leandre, Juliette and Marie, all at home. She also leaves seven brothers, Patrick Landry, Edward, Alyre Landry, of Dupuis Corner, Adolphe Landry, Moncton, Wilfred Landry, of Cape Bald, Baptist Landry, of New Springvale, Mass. One sister, Rev. Sister Archangella of the Sister's of Providence in Moncton, survives. The funeral service was held this morning from Saint John Theresa's Church at Cape Bald, Rev. Father Donat Robichaud, Officiating. The pall bearers were Dismas, Napoleon, Aurel, Leonel, Edward and Patrick Landry.
