Doris Babineau (Thibodeau), 89, wife of the late Mélème Babineau of Shediac, N.B. and formerly of Bas Cap-Pelé, N.B. passed away on Friday, May 16, 2008 at the Dr-Georges-L-Dumont Hospital, Moncton, N.B. Born October 22, 1918 in St-André, N.B., she was the daughter of the late Maurice and Émilienne (Léger) Bourque. She is survived by daughter Patricia "Pat" Phillips (Larry) of Fall River, N.S., son Daniel Thibodeau (Linda) of Livonia, Michigan; step-daugther Claudette Babineau of Mississauga, ON, daughter-in-law Judy Thibodeau of Charlottetown, P.E., brother William Bourque (Dorina) of Cap-Pelé, N.B.; six grandchildren: Andrew, Ryan, Jason, Tiffany, Robyn, Scott and by several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her 1st husband, Frank Thibodeau, her 2nd husband, Mélème Babineau, son Robert and by two sisters: Laura and Léona Babineau . Visitation at Funérarium Frenette, 2642 Acadie Rd., Cap-Pelé, N.B. (506-577-3297) on Monday, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday, from 9:30 a.m. until time of departure 10:20 a.m. Funeral mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 20, 2008 at Ste-Thérèse d'Avila R.C. church, Cap-Pelé, N.B. Interment will be in St. Charles Cemetery, Amherst, N.S. Special thanks to the Palliative Care Unit of the Dr. Georges-L-Dumont Hospital for the excellent care given to Doris during her illness.
