Lorraine Bourgeois (1925-2008) -
Lorraine Bourgeois, 82, of Grande-Digue, passed away at the Villa Providence on June 2nd, 2008. She was the wife of the late David Bourgeois (2003). Born in Saint-Norbert on September 10, 1925 to the late Charles Babineau and the late Edna Robichaud. She was a housewife and attended La Visitation Roman Catholic Church in Grande-Digue. She is survived by five daughters, Yvonne Doucet (Victor), Léa Cormier, Gloria Cormier (Bertin), Florence LeBlanc (Neil) and Linda Bourgeois all from Grande-Digue; two sons, André Bourgeois (Thérèse) from Scoudouc and Raymond Bourgeois from Grande-Digue; six sisters, Thérèse Boucher (late Phil) from Saint-Antoine, Ella Gaudet (Joseph) from Saint-Paul, Irène LeBlanc from Sainte-Marie, Armande Lambert from Montreal, Marie Léger (Donald) from Waltham and Eleonore Mirabito (Frank) from Maynard, Mass. USA; four brothers, Noé (Annette) from Bouctouche, Laurie (Claire) from Leominster, Mass., Emile (Irène) from Waltham, Mass., and Jean-Paul (Lida) from Cheticamp; nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Lorraine is predeceased by two sisters, Jeanne and Elise. Resting at Coopérative Funéraire Passage Funeral Co-operative, 3754, Route 134, Shediac Bridge, with visiting hours, Tuesday, June 3rd, from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm, and on Wednesday, June 4th, from 9:30 to 10:30 am. Funeral Service to be held at La Visitation Roman Catholic Church in Grande-Digue on Wednesday, June 4th at 11:00 am. Interment at La Visitation parish cemetery.
