Dr. Paul Léger, 37, died, suddenly at his residence, 257 Lutz Street, this morning. He had been at work earlier in the day but returned to his residence and collapsed, dying shortly afterward of a heart attach.

He was a graduate of Laval University in 1951, after taking preliminary studies at St. Joseph's University graduating in 1946, and following internships at St. Joseph's Hospital in Saint John, until 1952, and Royal Victoria Hospital, Montreal until 1954, and Montreal General and Children's Memorial Hospital, until 1955, he spent some time at University Hospital, Baltimore, prior to opening his practice in Moncton in 1956.

He was a second degree member of the Knights of Columbus.

A member of the local, provincial and national medical associations, Dr. Leger was secretary of the Hotel Dieu staff physicians here.
