Mrs. H. Melanson
GRANDE-DIGUE (Special) — Mrs. Herminie Melanson, 85, of Grande-Digue died Friday at Dr. Georges L. Dumont Hospital, Moncton.
Born in Grande-Digue, she was a daughter of the late Raymond and Judith (Leger) Gallant.
She had been employed with Atlantic Sleep Co. of Scoudouc on retirement, attended the La Visitation Roman Catholic Church, Grande-Digue, and was a member of the Grande-Digue Golden Age Club.
She is survived by a son, Raymond of Moncton; a brother, Arthur of Moncton; three grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Melanson; two sisters, Melina and Yvonne, and a brother, Amedee.
The body wilI be at Frenette’s Funeral Home, Shediac, this evening. Funeral mass will be celebrated Monday at 2 p.m. at La Visitation Church. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Roman Catholic Cemetery, Dieppe.
