Jean Leger (1942-1997)

Jean "Ti John" Leger, 55 years. of 8 Main St., Shediac, passed away on Tuesday, December 30, 1997 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital, Moncton.

Born in Barachois, he was the son of Marie (Caissie) and of the late Ulric Leger. A former employee with Parc L Aboiteau in Cap Pelé, he attended St-Henri-du-Barachois Roman Catholic Church.

Besides his mother, he will be sadly missed by his loving family, wife, Lauria Melanson Leger; daughter, Nadine; son, Jacques both of Moncton; their mother Helene; a step daughter, Angele Robichaud; two step sons, Daniel Robichaud, Denny Robichaud, all of Ste-Anne; six sisters, Antoinette Landry of Barachois, Sr. Huberte Leger, Fille du Jésus of Grande Anse, Jeanne Gaudet (Ubald) of Fox Creek, Lucille Leger (Fernand LeBlanc) of St-Anselme, Murielle Doll (George) of Long Island, N.Y., Cathy Furlong (Leon) of Moncton; three brothers Rhéo, Normand (Thérèse), Michel (Patricia) all of Barachois. Besides his father, he was predeceased by five brothers, Ulysse, Bernard, Arthur, Fernand and Omer.

There will be no visiting hours from the funeral home. The funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, January 3, 1998 at 11 a.m. from St-Henri-du-Barachois Roman Catholic Church, Barachois with Father Maurice Leger officiating. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
