Mrs. A. Despres Cocagne (Special) - The death of Mrs. Alphee (Exilda) Despres of Cocagne occurred late Thursday evening following several weeks illness. She was 74. Born here, she was the daughter of the late August and Justine (Leger) Goguen. Her husband predeceased her four years ago. Surviving are several nieces and nephews. She was a member of the Order of Ste. Anne. The body is resting at the home of Mrs. Willie Desroche in Cocagne. Funeral service will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. here. Interment will be in the family lot.
