Henry Leger Cocagne, Oct. 12 -
The funeral of Henry Leger, aged 20, son of Mr. and Mrs. Arcade Leger, was held at St. Peter's Church here Oct. 4th at 9 o'clock with Rev. C.D. Cormier, cousin of the deceased, officiating. Present in the sanctuary were Rev. J. A. L. Archeveque, and Rev. A. P. Gaudet, parish priest. Besides his bereaved parents, he leaves to mourn five brothers, Aquilla, Alphonse, Francis, Joseph, Edmond, also five sisters, Sr. M. Germaine of Drummond, Mrs. Alphonse Allain (Aline), Black's Harbor, and Lucy, Aurore and Blanche at home. The pallbearer's were his five brothers, Aquilla, Alphonse, Francis, Joseph, Edmond and an uncle Edmond Robichaud. Mr. Lilman Richard, organist at Notre Dame, played the organ. Friends and relatives from outside points were: Mrs. A. A. Dysart and Miss Mary Dysart of Buctouche, Mr. Andrew Hebert, Peter Leger, Buctouche, Mr. Arcade Cormier, Mr. and Ms. Henri Cormier, Mr. Zepherin Robichaud, Arthur and Laudia Maillet, Joe Arsenault, Lucien Leger, of St Thomas, Mr. and Mrs. Alphonse Leger, Mrs. Edmond Breau, Mr. Ernest Cormier, Mr. Hector Cormier, St Anthony; Mrs. David Richard, Mr. and Mrs. Tilmon Richard, Mr. and Mrs. Jolimore Richard, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Cormier, Lorraine and Rita, Louis Richard, of Notre Dame.
