R. E. Brydges Point du Chene (Special) -
The death of Roland E. Brydges of Main Road, Point de Chene; occurred Sunday. he was 65. Born at Point de Chene, he was a son of the late Sandy and Josie (Wallace) Brydges and was a retired locomotive engineer. Surviving are, his wife, the former Elizabeth Leger; three sisters; Mrs. Jack Blight (Shirley) of Calvary, Mrs. Emma Ashcroft of Stratford, Ont., and Mrs. Gordon Ault (Loretta) of Rexdale, Ont.; four brothers, Presley and Kenneth, both of Moncton, and Alex and Ivan, both of Point de Chene. The body is resting at Frenette's funeral home, Shediac. The funeral will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the Point du Chene Anglican Church. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
