Rosalie Gallant (1916 - 2007) -
Peacefully on Wednesday, May 2nd, 2007, at The Moncton Hospital, passed away Rosalie Gallant, 91, wife of the late Émilien Gallant, of McSweeney Avenue, Moncton. Born January 20th, 1916 in Saint- Ignace, she was the daughter of the late Trefflé and Émile Richard. She was a retired nurses aid, a member of the Parkton Golden Age Club, and of Les femmes chrétiennes. She will be sadly missed by her eight children, Rita Chandler (Steve), Aldona Hachey (George), Roger (Gloria), Élodie Geldart, Jeannette Breau, Donald (Juliette), Yvette Rondeau-French (Donald), and Richard; three sisters, Dorina Leger (Gérald), Délia Richard, and Marie Gendron; a brother, Émile Richard (Alexina); 19 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandchild. Besides her husband; she is also predeceased by a son, Yvon; her brothers and sisters, Livain, Urbain, Yvonne, Philomène, Alma, and Élodie. Resting at Frenette Funeral Home, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900). The funeral mass will be held at 11a.m., Saturday, May 5th, 2007, at Notre-Dame-de-Grâce Roman Catholic Church (Parkton). Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe. Visitation Friday, May 4th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m, Saturday, from 10 a.m. until departure (11am).
