Léonard O. Landry
Léonard Owen Landry, 70, of Stafford Street, Moncton, passed away Thursday, May 26, 2005 at The Moncton Hospital following a short battle with cancer. Born March 16, 1935 in Memramcook, he was the son of the late Aurele and Alice (Landry) Landry. He was a meatcutter with Sobey's before his retirement. He will be sadly missed by Wilma (Gagnon) Landry, for 46 years, his loving wife; six children, Daniel (Kim) and Monique LeBlanc (Ron) all of Moncton, Michel of Vancouver, Suzanne LeBlanc (Mike) of Dieppe, Robert (Carole), and Roland (Pauline) also of Moncton; eight grandchildren, Josée, Janelle, Cody, Jesse, Vanessa, Zoée, Stephanie, Jasmine; a sister, Jeannette Leger (Léopold) of Moncton; a brother, Rhéal (Gérène) of Memramcook; an aunt, Viola Doucet (Albert); an uncle, Reginald and his longtime friend, Jim Gallant. Remains resting at Frenette Funeral Home, 88 Church Street, Moncton (8581900). Visiting hours Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m., Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., Monday from 10 a.m. until time of departure (10:50). The funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, May 30, 2005 at Our Lady of Assumption Cathedral, St. George Street, Moncton. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe.
