ADRIEN E. LÉGER, (1920 - 2008) -
Passed away on Tuesday, February 5, 2008 at the age of 87. He was a senior civil servant at National Defence for several years, he acquired a doctorate in chemistry of the University Laval in 1948 and he was also an officer of the '' Ordre du Mérite National de la République Française ''. Predeceased by his parents: Edouard Léger et Anna Leblanc, his spouse, Lise Raby, his brother, Edouard. Dear father of Suzanne, Louise (Richard Plamondon), Jacques (Mary Pynenburg), Michel (Miriam Lehman), Jean-François (Louise Jubinville). Loving grand-father of Catherine, Léa and Marc-Antoine, dear brother of Camilla (Alfred Vautour). He will also be sadly missed by his brother-in-law: Don McGregor, his sisters-in-law : Denyse Raby Huard and Monique Raby as well as several nephews, nieces and many friends. Visitations: Thursday, February 7th from 7 to 9 p.m., Friday, from noon to 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Funeral service: will be held on Friday, February 8th at 2 p.m. at Saint-Jean-Baptiste Church, 96 Empress Av. Ottawa, On. Donations: to the Pulmonary Association of Quebec, 855, Ste-Catherine East, room 222, Montreal, Qc. H2L 4N4 would be appreciated.
