Miss B. Leger -
The death of Miss Bertha Leger of Villa du Repos in Lewisville and formerly of Shediac, occurred Saturday at the Villa du Repos. She was 85. Born in Shediac, she was a daughter of the late Paul and Henriette (Hebert) LeBlanc, and attended St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Shediac. A registered nurse, she worked for more than 50 years in New York before retirement. She was a graduate of the Hampden Hospital Training School in Springfield, Mass. She is survived by a sister, Miss Clara Leger of Shediac; four nieces, Mrs. John Robinson (Babe), Deborah and Joy Leger, and Mrs. James C. Adair (Rita) of Port Orange, Florida, a nephew, J. F. Hebert of Ottawa and sister-in-law, Mrs. Paul E. Leger (Eileen) of Moncton. The body is resting at Frenette's funeral home, Shediac. Mass will be celebrated Tuesday from the St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Shediac, at a time to be announced. Interment will be held in the parish cemetery.
