Mrs. W. Drisdelle -
The death of Mrs. Ida Drisdelle, widow of William Drisdelle of 58 Humphrey Street, Moncton, occurred Sunday at the home of her daughter after a lengthy illness. She was 87. Born at St. Paul, Kent County, she was a daughter of the late Hypolite and Olive (Cormier) Melanson. Her husband died in 1965. She is survival by three daughters, Mrs. Olive Clowater, with whom she resided, Mrs. Emile Leger (Gerene) of Moncton, and Mrs. Edgar Surette (Lorraine) of Gardner, Mass.; five sons, Alban, Clarence, Edgar, all of Moncton, Emery (Pit) and Gerard Drisdelle, both of Montreal; one sister, Mrs. Marie Bourgeois of Lynn, Mass.; one brother, Livin Melanson of Saint John; 25 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren. The body will rest this evening at Frenette's funeral home, Moncton. Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Christ the King Roman Catholic Church with interment in the Our Lady of Calvary Roman Catholic Cemetery.
