    Mrs. Olivier Cormier -
    The death occurred last evening at the family home 129 Dominion St., of Mrs. Julianna Cormier, beloved wife of Mr. Olivier Cormier, well known C.N.R. shops employee. Her passing came about 8.30 following an illness of six days duration and she will be mourned by a large circle of relatives and friends. The deceased was 48 years of age and was born at St. Anthony, Kent County, being before her marriage Miss Julianna Breau, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Leo Breau, of that place. She had resided in the city for many years and was a highly respected member of L'Assomption Church and one of the branches of L'Assomption Society. Besides her husband, she leaves to mourn their loss seven sons and two daughters. The sons are Hector and Alphonse, employees of Moncton Fish Market; Adelard, Alfred, Edward, Bernard and Lloyd, all at home. The daughters are Lena, of T. Eaton Co.'s staff, and Edna, student at St. Joseph Convent; Memramcook. One brother, Urbain Breau, of St. Anthony, and six sisters also survive. The sisters are Mrs. Phillip Leger, Moncton; Mrs. Edward Cormier, Notre Dame; Mrs. Lalice Leger, St. Anthony; Mrs. Joseph Leger, Renault's Mills, Kent County; Mrs. Pierre Girouard, Fisherville, Mass., and Mrs. Fred M. Leger, Renaud's Mills. The funeral will be held Saturday morning from the family home to L'Assomption Church for solemn high mass of requiem, after which the body will be taken by the Buctouche train to St. Anthony, where interment will be made on Sunday afternoon.

    Miss Edith Legere -
    Miss Edith Legere, age 21 years died Wednesday morning, Feb 17, at 5 Central street, Leominster, Mass., after three months of illness. She is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph M. Legere, of Renault's Mill; four brothers, Leonel, of Moncton; Alfred, of Waltham, Mass.; Telex and Ernest, at home; six sisters, Elvina, of Leominister, Mass.; Mrs. Yvonne Legere, Waltham, Mass.; Mrs. Eveline Landry, College Bridge; Mrs. Ozelie LeBlanc, Dorchester; Mrs. Alida Dionne, Edmunston, N.B., and Florence, at home. A libera was sung in St. Cecilia Church, Leominster, Mass. The body was brought to Renauld's Mill by Tuttle Brothers. The funeral took place at St. Anthony Church where solemn High Mass of requiem was celebrated. Burial was made in the parish cemetery. The pall-bearers were her four brothers, Leonel, Alfred, Telex and Ernest; Abbey Landry and Alphonse Dionne, brothers-in-law.

    Mrs. L. Goguen -
    The death of Mrs. Laudia Goguen, wife of Leo P. Goguen of Cocagne, occurred Monday at the Stella Maris Hospoital in Ste. Anne de Kent following a brief illness. She was 74. Born at St. Anthony, she was a daughter of the late Fred and Belseme (Breau) Leger. She attended the Cocagne Roman Catholic Church. Besides her husband, she is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Joseph LeBlanc (Yolande) of Irishtown; one son, Normand Goguen of Waltham, Mass.; two sisters, Mrs. Emile Richard (Irene) of Shediac and Mrs. Aquila Surette (Borilla) of St. Anthony, four brothers, Alphonse of Gardner, Mass., Ovila of Cocagne, Leandre of Providence, Rhode Island, and Yvon Leger of St. Anthony, and by nine grandchildren. The body is resting at the slumber room, Cogagne Roman Catholic Church, where the funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday with interment in the parish cemetery.
