    Henry B. Robichaud Buctouche, March 10 -
    After an illness of but one day, there passed away at his home, in St. Thomas, a highly respected resident of that district in the person of Henry B. Robichaud. Mr. Robichaud's passing came as a shock, not only to his imediate family, but also to a wide circle of relatives and friends who deeply mourn his passing. The deceased was born 74 years ago at St. Francis, Kent County, a Son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Belonie Robichaud. He had made his home in St. Thomas district for a considerable number of years, where he was light keeper of the Dixon Point Range lights, a position which he had faithfully filled for over 53 years. The late Mr. Robichaud, who at the time of his death was a widower, had been twice married. In religion the deceased was a devout Roman Catholic. Surviving are two sons, Zepherin and Edmund, both of St. Thomas; one step-daughter, Lydia, Mrs. Arcade Leger of Cocagne; also two sisters, Rev. Sister St. Liquori, of Sherbrooke, P.Q., and Mrs. Tasie Allain, of New Bedford, Mass., U.S.A. the funeral was held Monday morning at 8.30 o'clock from the family home to St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, where requiem mass was celebrated by the pastor, Rev. Father Philippe Hebert. Interment was afterwards made in the Roman Catholic cemetery. Prayers at the grave were said by Rev. Father Hebert. The funeral was attended by a large number, evidencing the esteem in which the deceased was held. The pall-bearers were Edmund Robichaud, son of deceased; Joseph Leger, Henry Leger, Arcade Leger, Arcade Cormier and Henry Cornier, all relatives of deceased.

    The people of Cocagne were saddened on wednesday evening when they learned of the passing of the community's oldest residents in the person of Mrs. Lucien Arseneau (nee Olive Drisdelle). The deceased, who was 90 years of age, had been ill for the last two months and although she gradually weakened, her death came as a shock to the community. The deceased had been married twice, her first husband being Mr. Leger, of Cape Bauld. She is survived by three sons from her first mariage Arcade Leger, of Cocagne, and James and Donnat Leger, of Springhill, N.S. The funeral will be hld Friday morning from the parish church at Cocagne with high mass of requiem at 9 o'clock. Rev. Father Gaudet will officiate.

    Nous apprenons avec regret la mort de M. Denis Leger, de Shédiac, décédé lundi soir après une maladie de trois mois. M. Léger, qui était né à Scoudouc, était âgé de 57 ans. Il avait passé la plus grande partie de sa vie à Scoudouc, mais il y a deux ans il vint demeurer à Shédiac. Le défunt avait été à l'emploi du C.N.R. comme chauffeur de locomotive pendant plusieurs années.

    Il laisse, outre son épouse, (née Rosalie Gallant), six fils: Léo, Emile, Jean, Edouard, Azarias et Roger, à la maison, et Yvon, qui se prépare à la prêtrise à Ottawa; et sept filles: Graziella, Bernadette, Marguerite, Alfreda, Patricia, Denise et Jeannette, toutes à la maison paternelle. Un frère, Jude, de Shédiac, et quatre soeurs: Mme Thadée Cormier, de Scoudouc, Mme Thomas Doucet, Lynn, Mass., Mme Blair LeBlanc, de Moncton et Mme Joseph LeBlanc, de Saint-Jean, lui survivent également.

    Les funérailles auront lieu ce matin à l'église St-Jacques-le-Majeur, de Scoudouc.

    Denis Leger Shediac, Nov. 6 -
    Death occurred to Denis Leger, of this town, on Monday evening at 11:30 o'clock after an illness of three months. Mr. Leger was 57 years of age and a native of Scoudouc where he spent most of his life, removing to Shediac within the last two years. Deceased was in the service of the C.N.R. acting as locomotive fireman on the Shediac branch train for several years. In religion he was a Roman Catholic and was always an active worker in the church and parish work. He leaves to mourn his wife, nee Miss Rosalie Gallant; six sons, Leo, Emile, John Edward, Azarias and Roger at home, and Yvon, student priest in Ottawa; also seven daughters, Graziella, Bernadette, Margaret, Alfreda, Patricia, Denise and Jeannette all at home. One brother, Jude, of Shediac, and four sisters, Mrs. Thaddee Cormier, Scoudouc; Thomas Doucett, of Lynn, Mass.; Mrs. Blair LeBlanc, of Moncton, and Mrs. Joseph LeBlanc, of Saint John, also survives. The funeral will be held on Thursday morning in St. Jacques Lemajeur's R.C. Church, Scoudouc, with Very Rev. Dean L'Archeveque, pastor, officiating. Mr. Leger had a large circle of co-workers and friends who will regret to learn of his passing.

    The funeral of the late Mr. Cyril B. Leger, who passed away at his home here on April 8th, at the age of 80, was held on Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock. The deceased was a very highly respected and esteemed resident of Buctouche as he was always ready to lend a helping hand wherever needed. A host of friends and neighbors will deeply regret his death. he is survived by seven daughters, one son and two sisters. The daughters are: Rev. The son is Peter Leger, of Buctouche, The sisters are Mrs. Elzear Goselin, of Buctouche; Mrs. John Doucet of St. Anthony, N.B.. The service at St. John the Baptist Church and at the grave were conducted by rev. Father Phillip Hebert. The funeral was attended by a large gathering of relatives and friends. The pallbearers were Hon. A.A.Dysart, Andrew F. Hebert, Felix Michaud; Michel McLaughlin; Patrick McFadden, Lionide Maillet. A high mass of requiem was sung by Rev. Father Phillip Hebert Monday morning at 8 o'clock, and again were present many relatives and friends. The family received a large number of Mass offerings.     Cyrille B. Leger, a highly esteemed and aged resident of Boctouche, died recently. Mr. Leger was 80 years of age. Surviving are six daughters, Rev.     Mme Adéline Richard

    ST-ANTOINE - Mme Adéline Richard, veuve de feu Joseph Richard de St-Antoine-de-Kent, est décédée subitement hier à sa demeure, à l'âge de 82 ans.

    Née le 3 novembre 1887 à Bouctouche, elle était la fille de feu Elzéar et de Marie (Léger) Gosselin de cette paroisse. Elle était membre de la Société des Dames de Sainte Anne de St-Antoine, où elle demeurait depuis 61 ans. Son mari l'a précédée dans la tombe en 1963.

    Elle laisse dans le deuil onze filles, Mme Arthur Léger (Edna) de Dieppe, Mme Joseph Boudreau (Aurélie), Moncton, Mme Eric Cormier (Marie) de Humphrey, Mme Amédée Léger (Anita), Notre-Dame, Mme Joséphat Robichaud (Lorette), Ste-marie, Mme Eric Melanson (Flora) de Waltham, Mme Aimé Gosseline (Florence), et Mme Ovila LeBlanc (Thérèse) de Gardner, ainsi que Mlles Yvonnes, Cécile et ALma, toutes à la maison.

    En plus, quatre fils, Joseph et Zoël, de Gardner, Henri et Elzéear, de St-Antoine, un frère, Abraham Gosselin de South Grafton, E.-U., 60 petits-enfants et 40 arrières petits-enfants pleurent également sa perte.

    La dépouille mortelle repose présentement à son ancienne demeure, à St-Antoine. Les funérailles auront lieu jeudi à 3h30 p.m., en l'église de St-Antoine et l'inhumation sera au cimetière de la paroisse, au printemps.

    Mr. Cyril B. Leger Buctouche, N.B. , April 20 -
    The funeral of the late Mr. Cyril B. Leger, who passed away at his home here on April 8th, at the age of 80, was held on Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock. The deceased was a very highly respected and esteemed resident of Buctouche as he was always ready to lend a helping hand wherever needed. A host of friends and neighbors will deeply regret his death. he is survived by seven daughters, one son and two sisters. The daughters are: Rev. Sister Rose, of Lima, of the congregation of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart, Convent of St. Anne, Shediac, N.B., Mrs. Elie Girouard, New Bedford, Mass.; Mrs. Adeiard Millette, Fisherville, Mass.; Miss Adelfne Leger, New Bedford, Mass.; Mrs. Dan Bastarache, Lynn, Mass.; Mrs Andrew Hebert, Buctouche, N.B.; Mrs. Bedford Leger, Shenectady, N.Y. The son is Peter Leger, of Buctouche, The sisters are Mrs. Elzear Goselin, of Buctouche; Mrs. John Doucet of St. Anthony, N.B.. The service at St. John the Baptist Church and at the grave were conducted by rev. Father Phillip Hebert. The funeral was attended by a large gathering of relatives and friends. The pallbearers were Hon. A.A.Dysart, Andrew F. Hebert, Felix Michaud; Michel McLaughlin; Patrick McFadden, Lionide Maillet. A high mass of requiem was sung by Rev. Father Phillip Hebert Monday morning at 8 o'clock, and again were present many relatives and friends. The family received a large number of Mass offerings.     Cyrille Leger Boctouche, April 28 -
    Cyrille B. Leger, a highly esteemed and aged resident of Boctouche, died recently. Mr. Leger was 80 years of age. Surviving are six daughters, Rev. Sister Rose of Lima, of the Congregetion of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart, Ste. Anne's Convent, Shediac; Mrs. Elie Girouard, of New Bedford, Mass.; Mrs. Adelard Millette, of Fisherville, Mass.; Mrs. Adeline Leger, of New Bedford, Mass.; Mrs. Damien Bastarache, of Lynn, Mass.; Mrs. Andrew F.     M. Pierre Léger

    M. Pierre Léger, de Bouctouche, N.-B., est décédé, hier matin, au Manoir saint-Jean-Baptiste, à Bouctouche, après une longue maladie, à l'âge de 88 ans.

    Originaire de Bouctouche, il était fils de Cyrille et Céleste (Surette) Léger.

    Outre son épouse Salomé (née Richard) Léger, il laisse dans le deuil une fille adoptive: marie (Mme Frank Duguay), de Bouctouche; deux petits-enfants: Eddie et Julie: Trois soeurs: Eva (Mme André Hébert), de Moncton; Sr Rose de lima (Elmire), n.d.s.c., de la maison mère de cette communauté, rue King, à Moncton; Clarinda, de New York, ainsi que des neveux et des nièces.

    La dépouille mortelle est exposée au salon funéraire maillet, à Bouctouche. Les visites seront de 14 à 16 heures, puis, de 19 à 21 heures. Les funérailles auront lieu, samedi, à 10h00, avec service funèbre en l'église Saint-Jean-Baptiste, à Bouctouche et inhumation dans le cimetière paroissial.
