CAP-PELE - Mr. Edward Léger, 81, of Auberge Ste. Thérèse, Cap-Pelé and formerly of Robichaud, passed away on Sunday, March 1, 1998 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital, Moncton.
Born December 4, 1916 in Barachois, he was the son of the late Ambroise and the late Françoise (Cormier) Léger. Mr. Léger was a Veteran having served overseas between 1940 to 1945 with the N.B. Rangers. He was a Carpenter before retiring and atteded St. henri Roman Catholic Church, Barachois.
He is survived by his common-law wife, Anna Cormier; one sister, Albertine Léger of Riverview; one brother, Blair (Rita) of Barachois; and several niceces and nephews. h e was predeceased by three sisters, Dorothé, Emerise Trudeau and Françoise Gaudet; four brother, Frank, Théodore, Ambroise and Dismas.
By his request, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Interment in the Parish cemeter in Barachois.

82, Barachois, N.B., passed away on June 1, 1998, in Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont Hospital, Moncton. Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late Ambroise Leger and the late Francoise Cormier. Mr. Leger was a retired construction superintendent for Century Construction, Parsons Construction, Heber Brown and Gifco Construction. He was past president of District 13 School Board, of La Caisse Populaire de Barachois, of the Shediac-Botsford Progressive Conservation Association and of l'Association des Lacordaires. He was also a founding member of the Club Boishebert of Shediac and a member of the Golden Age Club in Barachois. He attended St. Henri du Barachois Roman Catholic Church. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends. He is survived by his wife, Marie-Rita (Gaudet) Leger; his daughters, Rose-Marie Baker, Halifax; Geraldine Leger and Ginette Bourque (Raymond), Shediac; Huguette Grenier (Jules), Gaspesie, Que.; Priscille Gould (Reginald), Barachois; sons, Blair-Merville (Elizabeth) and Lucien, Barachois; Charles-Edouard "Charlie" (Suzanne Hebert), Dieppe; Guy, Moncton; sisters, Albertine Leger, Moncton; Francoise Gaudet (late Leonel), Barachois; 19 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by brothers, Dismas, Theodore, Frank, Edouard, Ambroise Jr., Emery, and sisters, Emerise Trudeau and Dorothy Bourgeois. CAP PELE -- Frank Leger, 71, of Cap Pélé, passed away on Wednesday, September 13, 1995 at The Moncton Hospital after a lengthy illness.
Born in Fredericton, he was the son of the late Ambroise and Fannie (Cormier) Leger. He was a lobster fisherman. He attended the Ste-Theresa D'Avilla Roman Catholic Church, Cap Pelé.
He is survived by his wife, Maria (Gaudet) Leger; two daughters, Germaine Leger (Reíd Blackmore) of Shediac and Madeleine LeBlanc (Clarence) of Dieppe; two sons, Clorice of Amherst, N.S. and George (Monette) of Dieppe; two sisters, Albertine Leger of Moncton and Francoise Gaudet of Barachois; three brothers, Théodore of Toronto, Ont, Blair (Rita) of Barachois and Edouard of Barachois; 10 grandchildren, Tina, Martin, Clarence Jr., Joanne, Tanya, Jacob, Jason, Melissa, Jeremie and Veronique. He was predeceased by two brothers, Ambroise and Dismas; and two sisters, Emerise and Dorothée.
Resting af Frenette's Funeral Home, Main Street, Shediac with visiting hours on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 fo 9 p.m. Funeral mass will be held at Ste-Thérèse D'Avilla Roman Catholic Church, Cap Pélé on Friday, September 15, 1995 at 11 a.m. Interment in Ste-Thérèse D'Avilla Roman Catholic Church Cemetery, Cap Pélé.
