    Marguerite Thibodeau 1915-2007-
    Marguerite Thibodeau, 92, passed away at the Villa Providence, Shediac on Monday, December 17, 2007. She was the daughter of the late Ephrem V. and Rose-Anna (Landry) Léger. She worked at Princess Food Ltd. in Shediac for many years. She is survived by four daughters, Doris Boucher (Aquilla) and Camilla Gilbert (James) all of Fitchburg, Mass., Alvetta Richard (Ron LeBlanc) of Shediac, Rachelle Landry (Francis E.) of Westminster, Mass.; two sons, Raymond (Adrienne) of Gardner, Mass., and Ronald of Grand-Barachois; seventeen grandchildren; twenty-four great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; a daughter-in-law, Joanne LeBlanc-Thibodeau of Iles-de-la-Madeleine; and by several nieces and nephews. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was predeceased by her husband Camille W. Thibodeau; and by three sisters and three brothers, Vitaline, Florida, Alma, Alban, Edgar, and Alexandre. Visitation at Frenette Funeral Home Ltd., 396 Main St., Shediac (532-3297) on Thursday, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday, from 9:30 a.m. until time of departure 10:10 a.m. Funeral mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, December 21, 2007 at Saint-Henri Roman Catholic Church, Grand-Barachois. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society of N.B. would be appreciated. www.frenettefuneralhome.com.

    M.. Eloi Brun. de Barachois, est décédé soudainement à l’hôpital Dr-Georges-Dumont, le jeudi 8 octobre à l’âge de 61 ans.
    Né à Grand-Digue, il était le fils de Arthur et Lina (Léger) Brun. Il était pêcheur. Il faisait partie de la paroisse St-Henri-du-Barachois. Il était un ancien combattant de la Deuxième Guerre mondiale.
    Il laisse dans le deuil son épouse, née Rita Boudreau; sa mère, Mme Lina Brun, de la Cité d’âge d’or à Shédiac; trois filles et sept fils: Mme Gérald Arsenault (Claudette), de Barachois; Mme Don Hudlln (Lina), de Fredericton; Mme Donald Fougère (Gloria), de Shédiac Roger, de Mississauga, Ontario; Antoine, de Shédiac: Eric, de Barachois; Léandre, de Haute-Aboujagane: Donald, et Maurice, tous deux de Barachois et Gérald, de Moncton. Il laisse également cinq soeurs et six frères: Mme Pat Donelle (Florida), de Caissie Cape; Mme Henri Wade (Francine), de Toronto; Mme Rita Juneau, de Toronto; Mme Marguerite Cormier et Mme Guy LeBlanc (Alice), toutes deux de Shédiac; Alcide, de Shédiac; Louis, de Barachois; Clorice, de Shédiac; Lévi et George, tous deux de Toronto et Alonzo, de Buffalo, New York, ainsi que 17 petits-enfants et un arrière-petit-enfant. Une soeur et trois frères l’ont précédé dans la tombe: Mme Albert Haché (Ozélia), Freddie, Clarence et Léo.
    La dépouille mortelle sera exposée à partir de 19h ce soir au salon funéraire Frenette à Shédiac. Les funérailles auront lieu dimanche à 14h en l'église St-henri du Barachois avec inhumation dans le cimetière paroissial.
