    Ovila Arsenault of Taylor Village passed away at Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital on Friday July 13, 2007 at the age of 52. Born in Barachois, he was the son of the Lucia Arsenault and the late Leandre Arsenault. He is survived by his mother, Lucia Arsenault of Shediac; and his wife, Alfreda LeBlanc of Taylor Village; two daughters, Suzanne (Terry) Hanhams and Nathalie (Scott) Arsenault of Cap-Pele; three sons, Jacky (Therese) Arsenault, Pierre (Celia) Arsenault and Jeremy (Anik) Arsenault of Gayton; one step son, Michel (Marieve) LeBlanc of Dundee, N.B.; two sisters, Claudette (Roger) Cormier of St-Andre, Rose-Marie (Edgar) Cormier of Cormier Village; one brother, Ulysse Arsenault of Cormier Village; 15 grandchildren; and by several nieces ad nephews. Visitations will be held at Dupuis Funeral Home 15 Rte La Vallee, Memramcook on Tuesday July 17 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm and on Wednesday July 18 from 9:30 to 10:30 am. Funeral mass will be held at St-Thomas de Memramcook Roman Catholic Church, St-Joseph on Wednesday July 18 at 11:00 am. Interment will be held in St-Thomas cemetery, St- Joseph. Arrangement is in care of Dupuis Funeral Home, Memramcook.

    BARACHOIS (Special) - Joseph Boudreau , 61, of Barachois died Friday at Dr. Georges L. Dumont Hospital. Born in Barachois, he was the son of the late Philippe and Melesse (Leblanc) Boudreau. A fisherman and carpenter, he attended the St. Henri Roman Catholic Church and was a member of the Barachois Golden Age Club. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Jeannine (Leger) Boudreau of Barachois; two daughters, Mrs Allen Boudreau (Emerise) of Shediac and Angele of Barachois; four sons, Michel and Norbert, both of Barachois, and Donald and Leo-Paul, both of Robichaud; three sisters, Mrs. Gerard Goguen (Marianne) of St. Andre, Mrs. Fred Turner (Anita) of Riviere-du-Loup, Que., and Mrs. Arthur Leblanc (Huberte) of Shediac; one brother, Leonce of Barachois; seven grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. A brother, Ola, died in 1990. The body is Frenette's Funeral Home in Shediac. The funeral mass will be held Monday at 11. a.m. at St. Henri Roman Catholic Church, Barachois. Interment will be in the Barachois Parish Cemetery.

    Mr. Alcide Leger, 60, of Cormier Village passed away on Saturday, April, 10, 1999, at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital, Moncton following a lenghty illness.

    Born in Cormier Village, he was the son of the late Didace and Josephine (Gaudet) Leger.

    He will be sadly missed by his wife Diana (Cormier) Leger; one son, Emerie of Cormier Village; five sisters, Claudine Henderson of BC, Delphine Leger of Robichaud, Jeanine Boudreau (Joseph), Geraldine Allain (Edmond) both of Barachois, Lucia Arsenault of Shediac; four brothers, Yvon of St. André, Emile, Levis both of Barachois, René of Shediac. Predeceased by three brothers, Robert, Ovila, Alderic.

    Resting at Frenette Funeral Home, 396 Main St. Shediac with visitation on Sunday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm, on Monday 3 pm until departure for the funeral Mass. The funeral Mass will be celebrated 4 pm on Monday, April 12, 1999 from Sacré Coeur Roman Catholic Church, Haute Aboujagane. Interment in the Parish Cemetery.
