Gérard McGraw, 71, of St-Joseph Street, Shediac, passed away Sunday, October 8, 2006 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital following a lengthy illness. Born May 19, 1935 in Cormier-Village, he was the son of the late Alphonse and Tilda (Gallant) McGraw. He was a retired employee for Dobson construction following 35 years service, and a member of the Shediac Golden Age Club. He is survived by his wife, Louise (Maillet) McGraw; four children, Cecile LeBlanc (Marcel) of Cap-Pelé, Maurice (Nicole) of Wainwright, AB, Victor (Charline) of Scoudouc, and Jean-Paul of Shediac; four grandchildren, Joël, Jani, Gabriel, Adrien; two sisters, Lucia Leger (Fred) of Cormier-Village, Thérèse Milberry (late Bill) of Dartmouth; four brothers, Ulysse (Rosella) of Cormier-Village, Roméo (Lilianne) of Vancouver, Donald (Diana) of Moncton, Ronald of Shediac, a sister-in-law, Alma, and a brother-in-law, Emile Cormier. A sister Juliette, and a brother Roger predeceased him. Resting at Frenette Funeral Home, Shediac (532-3297). Visiting hours Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m., Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., Thursday from 10 a.m. until time of departure (10:50). The Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, October 12, 2006 at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Shediac. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Memorial donations to the Dr. Georges-L.
