    BLAIR, Gordon Earle -
    72, West North River Road, North River, Colchester County, died August 11, 1992, in North River. Born in North River, he was a son of the late William & Jessie (Mingo) Blair. He was retired as owner/operator from Blair's Service Station, North River, after 20 years. He was a veteran of the Second World War, having served overseas with the RCAF. He is survived by his wife, the former Marina Haggett, North River; four sons, Gordie, Truro; Bill, Bible Hill, Colchester County; Ron, Bryan, both North River; daughter, Bernice, Debert, Colchester County; two brothers, Ernest, Delhi, Ont.; Raymond, Welland, Ont.; four sisters, Kathleen Fell, Valleyview, Alta.; Beatrice Cream, North River; Irene Legere, Stouffville, Ont.; Marguerite Murray, North River; 10 grandchildren; a great-grandchild; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by five brothers, Archibald, Russell, Edgar, Eric, Elmer; two sisters, Lydia, Jean. The body is in Ettinger-Kennedy Funeral Home, Truro, visiting 7-9 p.m. today, where funeral will be 2 p.m. Friday, Rev. Charles Freake officiating. Burial will be in Aenon Cemetery, North River. Family flowers only. Donations may be made to any charity.
