    À la Villa Providence de Shédiac, le mardi 7 mars 2006, à l’âge de 88 ans, est décédée Georgia Léger, épouse d’Edouard Léger, domiciliée à la Villa Providence, mais autrefois de la Résidence Joseph LeBlanc à Shédiac. Née à Scoudouc, elle était fille de feu Calixte LeBlanc et de feu Octavie Belliveau. Outre son époux, elle laisse dans le deuil sa fille, Louise Chouinard (Guildo) de Saint-Quentin; deux fils: Bernard (Janie) de Thunder Bay, Ont. et Charles (Gloria) d’Oshawa, Ont.; une soeur, Bernadette Poirier de Shédiac; un frère, Emery (Marguerite) de Campbellton, ainsi que neuf petits-enfants et deux arrière-petits-enfants. Un fils, Roland (2004), ainsi qu’une soeur, Élodie Gauthier l’ont précédée dans la tombe. La dépouille mortelle sera exposée à compter de 14h, le vendredi 10 mars, à la Maison funéraire Frenette ltée, 396, rue Main à Shédiac (532-3297, www.salonfrenette.com). Les funérailles auront lieu en l’église Saint-Joseph de Shédiac, le samedi 11 mars, à 11h. L’inhumation se fera au cimetière Notre-Dame-du-Calvaire à Dieppe. Heures de visites: le vendredi 10 mars, de 14h à 16h et 19h à 21h et le samedi 11 mars, de 10h à 10h50.     Georgia Léger SHEDIAC, NB - Georgia Léger, 88, wife of Edouard Léger of the Villa Providence and formerly of Residence Joseph LeBlanc, Shediac passed away on Tuesday, March 7, 2006 at the Villa Providence, Shediac. Born in Scoudouc, she was the daughter of the late Calixte and Octavie (Belliveau) LeBlanc. Besides her husband Edouard, she is survived by one daughter Louise Chouinard (Guildo) of St. Quentin; two sons, Bernard (Janie) of Thunder Bay, ON, Charles (Gloria) of Oshawa, ON; one sister Bernadette Poirier of Shediac; one brother Emery LeBlanc (Marguerite) of Campbellton; nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son Roland (2004), and one sister Elodie Gauthier. Resting at Frenette Funeral Home Ltd., 396 Main St., Shediac (532-3297) on Friday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. until time of departure 10:50 a.m. The funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 11, 2006 at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Shediac.     Born in Moncton, he was a son of the late Gilles and Minnie (Gould) Leger. Self-employed, he was proprietor of Roy Leger’s Heating and Air Conditioning for more than 20 years. He attended St. Theresa Roman Catholic Church, Dieppe.
    He is survived by his wife, the former Julienne LeBlanc; two daughters, Mrs. Francis LeBlanc (Irene) and Mrs. Jacgues Goguen (Annette), both of Dieppe; four sons, Eugene, Roger, David and Raymond Leger, all of Dieppe; a sister, Mrs. ed Leger (Rita) cf Sackville; two brothers, Leo of Cormier’s Cove and Alonzo Leger of New Glasgow, N.S.; two grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Two brothers died previously, Laurie in 1972 and Fred in 1983. A son, Paul, died in 1957.
    The body is at Chartersville Funeral Home, Dieppe. Funeral mass will be celebrated Tuesday at St. Theresa Roman Catholic Church, Dieppe at 10 a.m. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Roman Catholic Cemetery, Dieppe in the spring.

She was predeceased by a daughter, Phyllis in 1996; her husband, Fred in 2002; brothers, Laurie, Roy, Fred and Leo. Rita's remains have been entrusted into the care of Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge St., Sackville, (364-1300) with visitation Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm.
