Surviving are one daughter Rita (Mrs. Fred Leger), of Middle Sackville, N.B.; four sons; Fred, St. Johns, N.B.; Leo, Sackville, N.B.; Alanzo, New Glasgow; Royl,Dieppe, N.B.; Laurie, Moncton, three sisters, Mrs J.A. Paradis, Moncton. Mrs. F.A. Gaudet and Matilda, 132 Oxford Street, Halifax; three brothers, Gerald Gould, Dartmouth; Yvon and Amile, Moncton.

    Roy Joseph Leger, 63, of 220 Gould St., Dieppe died Sunday at Dr. Georges L. Dumont Hospital, Moncton.
    Born in Moncton, he was a son of the late Gilles and Minnie (Gould) Leger. Self-employed, he was proprietor of Roy Leger’s Heating and Air Conditioning for more than 20 years. He attended St. Theresa Roman Catholic Church, Dieppe.
    He is survived by his wife, the former Julienne LeBlanc; two daughters, Mrs. Francis LeBlanc (Irene) and Mrs. Jacgues Goguen (Annette), both of Dieppe; four sons, Eugene, Roger, David and Raymond Leger, all of Dieppe; a sister, Mrs. ed Leger (Rita) cf Sackville; two brothers, Leo of Cormier’s Cove and Alonzo Leger of New Glasgow, N.S.; two grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Two brothers died previously, Laurie in 1972 and Fred in 1983. A son, Paul, died in 1957.
    The body is at Chartersville Funeral Home, Dieppe. Funeral mass will be celebrated Tuesday at St. Theresa Roman Catholic Church, Dieppe at 10 a.m. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Roman Catholic Cemetery, Dieppe in the spring.

    SACKVILLE, NB - The death of Rita Legere, age 89, of Sackville, widow of Fred Legere, occurred at the Drew Nursing Home, on Friday, March 10, 2006. Born in Memramcook, she was a daughter of the late Gill and Minnie (Gould) Legere. A hairdresser, she was a member of St. Vincent's Roman Catholic Church, Sackville and the CWL. Rita will be sadly missed by her daughter, Doreen (Alan) Johnson, Sackville; two granddaughters, Karen and Michele; a brother, Alonzo (June) Legere, New Glasgow, NS. She was predeceased by a daughter, Phyllis in 1996; her husband, Fred in 2002; brothers, Laurie, Roy, Fred and Leo. Rita's remains have been entrusted into the care of Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge St., Sackville, (364-1300) with visitation Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Vincent Roman Catholic Church, Sackville on Monday, March 13, 2006 at 11 am, Rev. Father Allison Carroll officiating. Burial in the Parish Cemetery in the spring. In lieu of flowers donations to the St. Vincent 's Parish Church or Cemetery would be appreciated. www.jonesfuneralhome.ca
