Roy Joseph Leger, 63, of 220 Gould St., Dieppe died Sunday at Dr. Georges L. Dumont Hospital, Moncton.
Born in Moncton, he was a son of the late Gilles and Minnie (Gould) Leger. Self-employed, he was proprietor of Roy Leger’s Heating and Air Conditioning for more than 20 years. He attended St. Theresa Roman Catholic Church, Dieppe.
He is survived by his wife, the former Julienne LeBlanc; two daughters, Mrs. Francis LeBlanc (Irene) and Mrs. Jacgues Goguen (Annette), both of Dieppe; four sons, Eugene, Roger, David and Raymond Leger, all of Dieppe; a sister, Mrs. ed Leger (Rita) cf Sackville; two brothers, Leo of Cormier’s Cove and Alonzo Leger of New Glasgow, N.S.; two grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Two brothers died previously, Laurie in 1972 and Fred in 1983. A son, Paul, died in 1957.
The body is at Chartersville Funeral Home, Dieppe. Funeral mass will be celebrated Tuesday at St. Theresa Roman Catholic Church, Dieppe at 10 a.m. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Roman Catholic Cemetery, Dieppe in the spring.

Mrs. E. Landry Cap Pele (Special) -
The death of Mrs. Helen Landry, widow of Eddie Landry, of Cap Pele, occurred Friday at the Dr. Georges Dumont Hospital in Moncton following a lengthy illness. She was 83. Born in Cap Pele, she was a daughter of the late Raymond and Francoise (Leger) Leger. She was a member of the Cap Pele Roman Catholic Church. She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Loretta Landry, Dupuis Corner; Mrs. Rheal Cormier (Yolande), Fitchburg, Mass.; Mrs. Robert Doiron (Anna Marie) Cap Pele and Mrs. Adrice Doiron (Rosanna), Dupuis Corner and three sons, Calisle, Moncton and Rodolph and Azar, both of Cap Pele. Also surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Melina Boudreau, Cap Pele and Mrs. Carle Richard, St Anselme and a brother, Gilbert Leger, Cap Pele and 35 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. The body is resting at Frenette's funeral home in Shediac. The funeral mass will be celebrated Monday at 11:15 a.m. at the Cap Pele cemetery vault to await burial in the spring.

The funeral mas for Mrs. Helena Landry, widow of Eddie Landry, of Lower Cap Pele, whose death occurred Friday Dec 11, 1970 at the Dr. Geroge Dumont hospital in Moncton, will be celebrated monday Dec. 3 at 11:15 a.m. at the Cap Pele Roman Catholic Church. Entombment will be in the Cap Pele cemetery vault to awaint burial in the spring. The body is resting at Frenette's funeral home Shediac.
