Born in Barachois, N.B., she was a daughter of the late Benjamin and Elizabeth (LeBlanc) Legere. She was a seamstress by trade and was well known throughout the area as a dressmaker. She was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Roman Catholic Church, Joggins. She is survived by a sister, Mrs. Mary Burbine, Cape Cod, Mass.; several nieces and nephews; a great-niece, Judy (Mrs. Rickey Reid), with whom she lived. She was predeceased by two sisters, Georgina Richards and Emma Burke, a brother, Ben. The body will be in Furlong's Funeral Home, Amherst, after 2 p.m. Sunday. Funeral service will 10 a.m. Monday at St. Thomas Aquinas Church. Burial will be in Ragged Reef Cemetery.

    PETIT-ROCHER NORD — À l’Hôpital régional Chaleur de Bathurst, le vendredi 30 avril 1993, à l’âge de 45 ans, es décédée Catherine Léger épouse de Léo-Paul Léger domiciliée à Petit-Rocher Nord. Née à Saint-Charles de Kent, elle était fille de feu Henri Robichaud et de Anna Robichaud de Richibouctou.
    Outre son époux et sa mère elle laisse dans le deuil une fille, Colette de Petit-Rocher Nord; un fils, Adrien de Fredericton; deux soeurs Aurore (Dosithée Poirier) de Richibouctou, et Marie (Hervé Babineau) de Moncton; cinq frères: Louis de Saint-Charles de Kent, Rémi de Dieppe, Eugène de Richibouctou, Charles de Pokemouche, Jean-Emile de Richibouctou-Village, ainsi que plusieurs neveux, nièces, cousins et cousines.
    Une soeur, Marguerite Anne (Pierre Thibeau) l’a précédée dans la tombe quatre ans passés.
    La dépouille mortelle est présentement exposée à la chapelle funéraire Verret de Nigadoo. Le convoi funèbre partira ce lundi 3 mai, à 9h45 pour se rendre en l’église Saint-Polycarpe de Petit-Rocher, le service sera chanté à 10h. L’inhumation aura lieu cimetière de Saint-Charles Kent, plus tard ce printemps
    Heures de visite: ce lundi 3 mai, de 8h30 jusqu’au départ pour les funérailles.
    La direction des funérailles a été confiée à la Maison funéraire Verret de Nigado.
