    René Léger (1943 - 2008) -
    René Léger, 64, of Boudreau Ouest, passed away on Friday, February 22, 2008 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital, Moncton following a lengthy illness. Born December 22, 1943 in Cormier Village, he was the son of the late Didace and Josephine (Gaudet) Léger. He was a past employee with Archille LeBlanc Paving. He will be sadly missed by his two sons, Kevin (Carole Allain) of Bouctouche, Brian of Shediac; five sisters, Jeannine Boudreau (late Joseph), Delphine Léger (late Alphée) and Géraldine Allain (Edmond) all of Grand-Barachois, Claudine Henderson (late Myron) of Kamloops, B.C., Lucia Arsenault of Shediac; two brothers, Gérard (Vina) and Lévi (Lucille) both of Grand-Barachois; three grandchildren, Chanelle, Randy, and Mireille, his former wife Claudette (Gallant) Léger of Shediac, and by several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by a son, Danny (2000); six brothers, baby Alderic, Alcide, Ovila, Yvon, Émile and Robert. Visitation at Frenette Funeral Home Ltd., 396 Main St., Shediac (532-3297) on Sunday, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday, from 10 a.m. until time of departure at 10:35 a.m. Funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, February 25, 2008 at St-Henri Roman Catholic Church, Grand-Barachois. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the of the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital (Oncology) would be appreciated. www.frenettefuneralhome.com.
