    LEGERE, John Larkin (Jack) -
    59, Dartmouth, died August 18, 1993, in Dartmouth General Hospital. Born in Halifax, he was a son of the late Joseph and Anne (Whalen) Legere. He was employed with Supply and Services for 35 years, retiring in 1988. He was manager for the past four years with Waverley Amateur Athletic Association at Cole Harbour Place. He was an avid sportsman, coaching hockey and baseball. He is survived by his wife, the former Dot Beach; son, Derek, at home; two sisters, Monica (Mrs. Bill Gates), Bedford; Margie (Mrs. Paul Johnston), Indian Harbour; two brothers, Cyril, Tommy, both of Bedford. He was predeceased by a brother, Joe. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Thomas More Church, Caledonia Rd., Dartmouth, Rev. Paul Williams officiating. Burial will be in Dartmouth Memorial Gardens. Donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society or any charity.
