Dosithe Joseph Adolphe Leger
AMHERST, N.S. - The death of Dosithe Joseph Adolphe Leger, 55, of Amherst, N.S., and formerly of Little Cape, occured suddenly on November 30, 1996 at the Sackville Memorial Hospital. He was the son of the late Adolphe and Mathilde (Richard) Leger. He is survived by his wife, Barbara R. (Bateman) Leger of Sackville; two daughters, Mrs. Donna Lee (Leger) Cochrane and husband Wayne of Salisbury, Sherry Leger and only granddaughter, Crystal Leger of Leger Brook; two sons, Terry of Geulph, Ont and Jamie of Moncton. He is also survived by three brothers, Joseph and wife Linda of Barachois, Alban and wife Denise, Donald and wife Cecilia, both of Little Cape; seven sisters, Mrs. Aurelle (Leona LeBlanc of Little Cape, Anita Leger of St. Anne, Mrs. Romeo (Yvonne) Cormier of Little Cape, Mrs. Dismas (Yvette) Cormier of Lower Cap Pele, Mrs. Joe (Colestie) Despres, of Little Cape, Mrs. Philipe (Delia) Cormier of St. Andrew, Mrs Gerard (Marguerite) Cormier of Lower Cap Pele; aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place at Furlong's Funeral home in Amherst, N.S. Burial will be at a later date.

He was very much loved by everyone and will be sadly missed. May he be with God and find eternal piece.

LEGER, Dosithe Joseph Leo (Teboy) - 55, 15 Palmer St., Amherst, formerly of Shemogue, N.B, died November 30, 1996. Born in Shemogue, he was a son of the late Adolphe and Malthide (Richard) Leger. He had worked as a boatbuilder at Gerald Dugay Boat Building in Shemogue for over 25 years. He was a member of St. Timothy's Roman Catholic Church, Shemogue. He was a member of Royal Canadian Legion, Cape Pele Branch, and the Legion Dart League. He was a former minor hockey coach. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed the outdoors. Surviving are his wife, the former Marilyn Cresine; stepsons, Robert Stright, Cambridge, Ont.; David Stright, Sackville, N.B.; Mike Stright, Amherst; brother, Joseph, Robichaud, N.B.; seven grandchildren. Cremation has taken place. Burial and private service to take place at a later date in St. Timothy's Cemetery, Shemogue. Donations to Canadian Cancer Society or Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia. Arrangements entrusted to Furlong's Funeral Home, Amherst.
