Barrie Robert Legere, 22, of 52 Nelson Street, Lower Sackville, died Friday as the result of a canoeing accident in First Lake, Lower Sackville. Born in Gimli, Man., he was the son of John and Marilyn (Geldart) Legere, Moncton. He was a carpenter. He is survived by a sister, Debbie (Mrs. Robert Kenny) Douglastown, N.B., and his paternal grandmother, Mrs Phoebe Legere, Moncton. The body in the J. Albert Walker Funeral Home, Halifax. The body will be transferred to Moncton for funeral service and burial.
