Patrick M. Leger Shediac, May 15 -
Word was received by Clarence Leger, Shediac, of the passing of his father, Patrick M. Leger, of Lynn, Mass. The deceased, who was 70 years of age, had been ill for the last three years, and although his passing was not unexpected it came as a shock to his many friends and relatives not only where he lived but in Moncton where he was employed for some ten years as an interior decorator, learning his trade there. He has been a resident in the U.S.A. for the last 37 years. He leaves to mourn, his wife (nee Elvina Belliveau), and three sons, Clarence, of Shediac Cape; George and Raymond, of Lynn, Mass., and one daughter, Louise, Mrs. Edward Richard, of Lynn, Mass. One sister, Mrs. Anthony Thibodeau, of Shediac Cape, and one half-sister, Mrs. Archie Gaudet, of St. Paul, Kent county, and two half-brothers, Levi Leger, of St. Paul, Kent county, and Frank Leger, of Lynn, Mass., also survive. The late Mr. Leger was a native of Memramcook. - [S4396] Zella (Robichaud) Layden, As-tu du LeBlanc? (Canada: Trafford Publishing, 2007). Hereinafter cited as As-tu du LeBlanc?
