LeBLANC, Allain O. -
78, passed away after a lenghty illness in Georges Dumont Hospital, Moncton, on November 17, 1996. He was a retired employee of Air Canada in Halifax. He was born in Belliveau Village, Memramcook, on February 11, 1918, and was the son of the late Andre O. LeBlanc and Salome Bourque. He had been living in Belliveau Village for the past several years. He is survived by his wife, Elmire (Belliveau) LeBlanc; daughters, Claudette (James) Spinks, Hoover, Ala.; Pauline LeBlanc, Belliveau Village; Paulette (Guy) Leger, Cocagne; sons, Romeo (Susan) LeBlanc, Southington, Conn.; Bernard (Juliette) LeBlanc, Calgary, Alta.; sisters, Obeline (late Louis) Gaudet, Dorice (late George) Sharon, both of Somers, Conn.; Andrea (Armand) Gaudet, Waltham, Mass.; brother, Normand LeBlanc, Belliveau Village. He also leaves nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by an infant son, Oscar; sisters, Laura, Irene, Carmelita, Aurise, Corinne; brothers, Irois, Antoine, Alphe, Emery, Arsene. He is survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was a member of NotreDame de l'Annonciation Parish, Pre-d'en-Haut and was also a member of Club D'Age D'Or, Pre-d'enHaut. The remains will be resting at Dupuis' Funeral Home, Memramcook, with visiting hours on Wednesday, November 20, from 2-4, 7-9 p.m. and again on Thursday, November 21, from 2-6:30 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 21, at 7 p.m. at Norte-Dame de Annonciation Church, Pre-d'en-Haut. Interment will be in the parish cemetery in Pre-d'en-Haut. In lieu of flowers, donations to The Lung Association or a charity of choice would be greatly appreciated by the family. - [S7123] Elmire M.
