    JOHNSON, George Albert -
    72, 5299 Prospect Rd., New Minas, died February 18, 1993, in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Halifax, he was a son of the late James and Bertha (Swinamer) Johnson. He served overseas in the Second World War in the second division of the R.C.C.S. He was an electronic engineer in Dartmouth for several years. He is survived by his wife, the former Kathleen Johnson; three daughters, Ann (Mrs. Kevin Legere), Kentville; Sylvia Bennett, New Minas; Kathleen (Mrs. Jim Bennett), Long Beach Road, Canning; seven sons, Robert, Oklahoma; William, Victoria, B.C.; Leslie, Coldbrook; Russell, Thomas, Gordie, all of Kentville; Richard, Wolfville; three sisters, Marguerite (Mrs. William
    Arnold), East Jeddore; Marie (Mrs. Henry Lambardo), Kentville; Viola Burns, Ontario; brother, William, Dartmouth; 23 grandchildren. He was predeceased by a daughter, Rita in infancy; brother, Jim; sister, Florence. The body is in W.C. Hiltz Funeral Home, Kentville, visiting 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today and Sunday, where a Kings Branch 6, Royal Canadian Legion service will be 7 p.m. Sunday, and where funeral will be 2 p.m. Monday, Canon S.J.P. Davies officiating. Burial will be in Elm Grove Cemetery, Steam Mill. Donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society.
