BABINEAU, Robert Joseph -
67, Halifax, died January 28, 1996, at home. Born in Saint John, N.B., he was a son of the late Alex and Blanche (Legere) Babineau. Prior to his retirement he was employed as a carpenter. Surviving are daughters, Donna (Mrs. Paul Kavanagh), Woodlawn, Ont.; Paula (Mrs. Bernard Lee), Glace Bay; Sheri (Mrs. Trevor Eagle), Carleton Place, Ont.; sons, Bruce, Richard, Carleton Place; sister, Verna (Mrs. William Black), Ottawa; brother, Donald, Trenton, Ont.; eight grandchildren. He was predeceased by sister, Lorraine. Visitation 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today in Snow's Funeral Home, Windsor Street, Halifax. Funeral 10 a.m. Wednesday in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church Rockingham, Msgr. William Wambolt officiating. Cremation to follow. No flowers by request. Donations to Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia.
