Leonard N. Perron 1924 - 2007 Leonard Perron passed away at the Veterans Health Center, Moncton, on Thursday, January 4th 2007. Born in Chartersville on August 9th 1924, he was the son of the late Napoleon and Leonie (LeBlanc) Perron. A Veteran of the Second World War, Leonard served overseas with the Royal Canadian Navy. He is survived by his daughters, Cathy Ritcey (late Stuart), Sandra Leger, Vina LeBlanc (Normand) and Helen Tomlinson (Paul) all of Moncton; a son, Gaston Perron of Moncton; nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. In keeping with Leonard's wishes there will be no visitation at the funeral home. Friends are invited to gather at Fair Haven Funeral Home at 10:45 am on Thursday, January 11th. A graveside service for Leonard and his wife Theresa will be held at 11:00 am in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens, Fr. Bernard Sloan presiding. Theresa Marie Jane Perron (nee Jacob) 1927 - 2006 -
Passed away at her residence on Sunday, December 24th, 2006 at the age of 79, wife of Leonard Perron of Moncton. Born on September 10th, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Désiré and Helen Jacob (née Girouard). She was a great cook that has worked at many restaurants in Moncton, Heinz, Zellers and Cy's. Theresa was a very special person and a very giving mother to her family. Besides her husband Leonard, she is survived by her daughters, Cathy Ritcey (Late Stuart), Sandra Leger (Gerry), Vina LeBlanc (Normand) and Helen Tomlinson (Paul) all of Moncton; one son, Gaston Perron of Moncton; three sisters, Agnes Décotret, Doris Dawson and Anita Jacob; three brothers, Gérald Jacob of Shédiac, David Jacob of Moncton and Walter Jacob of Waltam, Mass., U.S.A.; nine grandchildren and by eight great grandchildren. A very special thank you to a devoted and loving caregiver Annette Demchuck for the great care that mom received from you.
