    Legere, Harry, B. - 79, Joggins, died Friday in Highland View Regional Hospital, Amherst. Born in Joggins, he was a son of the late Fred and Mary (Bourgeois) Legere. He was maintenance supervisor for C.I.L., retiring in 1974. He was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Roman Catholic Church, Joggins. He is survived by his wife, the former Dorothy M. Hardy, a son, Wayne, Hamond Plains; three sisters, Gladys Fife, Mississauga, Ont.; Anna MacDonald, Lismore, Pictou County; Elsie (Mrs. Fred Como), Joggins; two grandchildren. He was predeceased by a brother, Fred. Body is in Furlong's Funeral Home, Amherst. Funeral will be held 11 a.m. today, St. Thomas Aquinas Roman Catholic Church, Joggins, Rev. David MacDonald officiating. Burial in Ragged Reef Cemetery.

The body will be in Furlong's Funeral Home, Amherst, with visiting 7-9 p.m. Friday, and where parish prayers will be 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Thomas Aquinas Roman Catholic Church, Joggins, Rev. Pat Cosgrove officiating. Burial will be in Ragged Reef Cemetery, Joggins.

The funeral was held at St. Joseph's Church, Fitchburg, a solemn high mass of requiem for the repose of her soul being sung by Rev. Alphee Chartier, celebrant, Rev. Alphonse Lachapelle was deacon and Rev. Joseph Deschenes, sub-deacon. The pallbearers were Herve Goguen, Alban Goguen, J. Henry Goguen, formerly of Cocagne; Louis Jaillet, all nephews of the late Mrs. LeBlanc. Burial was in Fitchburg. Mrs. LeBLanc was active in church work and in several societies and was a lady of wide popularity in Kent County and Fitchburg.

Elle laisse dans le deuil une fille, Marie-Lise (Émile Landry) de Shippagan, chez qui elle demeurait; un fils, Robert (Cheryl Battah) de Village-Blanchard; quatre petits-enfants: Philippe, Fréderik, Véronique et Christine; une arrière-petite-fille, Alyson; une soeur, Valéda (Ernest Groulx) de Somerville, N.H.; deux belles-soeurs: Rita (feu Charles Léger) de Lévis, Qc et Marguerite (feu Yvon Léger) de Saumarez; une filleule, Gisèle LaCroix de Béloeil, Qc, ainsi que plusieurs neveux et nièces. Cinq frères: Léonce, Léonce en bas âge, Albini (Marie-Estelle Gionet), Charles et Yvon, l'ont précédée dans la tombe.
