    NOVELLI, Edward George -
    78, Halifax, died July 20, 1994, in Victoria General Hospital. Born in England, he was the eldest son of the late Daisy Novelli. He worked for many years as supervisor at Claytons Limited and J&M Murphy and owned his own tailoring business known as Tony the Taylor in the Roy Building, Barrington Street, for the past 20 years. He is survived by his wife, the former Doris Legere; daughter, Christine (Mrs. Errol Williams), Halifax; three grandchildren; two sisters, Nellie (Mrs. James Matheson), Gloria (Mrs. Fred Hickey), both of Halifax; two brothers, Frank, Halifax; George, Calgary. He was predeceased by a sister, Gertrude. Cremation will take place. A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Edgewood United Church, Young Street and Connaught Ave., Rev. John Tapscott officiating. No flowers by family request. Donations may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia or any charity.
