    - À l’Hôpital régional Dr-Georges-L.-Dumont de Moncton, le mardi 2 mai 2006, à l’âge de 67 ans, est décédé après une lutte courageuse contre le cancer, Richard Léger. Il manquera à son épouse, Cécile (née Léger); son frère, Edgar et Germaine Léger; sa soeur, Claudette et Donald Fontaine; son fils, Marc et Mary-Pat Schutta; ses filles: Suzanne et Martin Ruddy et Nadine et Martin Lizée, ainsi qu’à ses petits-enfants: Danielle, Madeleine, Gabriel, Catherine et Stella. Son père, Edgar; sa mère, Ida (née Hébert) Léger, ainsi que sa soeur, Yolande Gordon, l’ont précédé dans la mort. Richard aimait les défis, travailler à l’extérieur et aider sa famille et ses amis. Ses amis manqueront son sens de l’humour et le partage d’une blague avec lui. Jusqu’à la toute fin, il a démontré sa persévérance et son courage. La famille accueillera parents et amis de 14h à 16h, le samedi 6 mai, à la Maison funéraire Frenette ltée, 396, rue Main à Shédiac (532-3297, www.salonfrenette.com). À sa mémoire, il y aura une célébration de sa vie et des prières à 14h30 au salon funéraire.
