    Highly Esteemed Resident St. Anselme Passed Away After Serious Illness.
    Following an illness of three weeks duration J. Edgar Bourgeois, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ferdinand Bourgeois, St. Anselme, passed away in the Hotel Dieu yesterday morning. Although his condition had been considered serious from the beginning, it was not until a few days ago that it because alarming and death came as a great shock to his immediate family and friends. He was well known throughout the district, where his passing will be deeply mourned by a host of friends. The deceased lived the greater part of his life in St. Anselme, and for the past several years had been engaged in the milk business. He took an active interest in the affairs of the community in which he lived and was highly respected by everyone. A man of fine character, Mr. Bourgeois contributed much to the progress of the district and in his passing the community sustains a severe loss. Mr. Bourgeois is survived by his widow and two children, Jeannette and John Charles. He also leaves his parents, six sisters and five brothers. The sisters are, Mrs. George T. leBlanc, of St. Anselme; Mrs. Osias Richard, of Moncton, and the Misses Estelle, Germaine, Eva and Marguerite, all at home. The brothers are Alban, engineer and the steamship Cavalier; Alfred, of Moncton; Philas, Quincy, Mass.; Camille, at home, and Rene, student at Bathurst College. The funeral will take place Sunday afternoon from the Roman Catholic Church, St. Anselme.
