Mrs. Theophile LeBlanc -
The sudden death of Mrs. Theophile LeBlanc, beloved wife of Mr. Theophile LeBlanc, occurred at the family home, in Memramcook, N. B., on Sunday morning, May 29th. The late Mrs. LeBlanc was a native of that place, being before her marriage Miss Marceline LeBlanc, daughter of the late Mr. ans Mrs. Donat LeBlanc. The deceased lady had a wide circle of relatives and friends who will regret her sudden passing. She leaves to mourn their loss her husband, five sons and two daughters. The sons are William LeBLanc, of the Grey Buss Line; Alyre of the C.N.R., Moncton; Alfred, of the C.N.R., Montreal; Henry and Joseph, of Waltham, Mass. The daughters are Mrs. Louis Thibodeau, of Brownville, Maine, and Marie, at Home. She is also survived by two sisters, Mrs. Lucien LeBlanc, of Memramcook, and Mrs. Alyre Leger, of Moncton, as well as three brothers, Anselme and Adalph LeBLanc, of Memramcook and Albert LeBlanc, of Moncton. The funeral will be held on Wednesday morning from the family home to St. Thomas Church, Memramcook, where requiem high mass will be celebrated at nine o'clock by the rector, Rev. Father Dismas J. The death of Adolphe D. LeBlanc of Memramcook West occurred Sunday at Villa Providence, Shediac. He was 96. He was the son of the late Donat and Marie Leger LeBlanc of Memramcook West. He was a farmer and businessman. His wife, the former Alise Belliveau, died in 1969. He is survived by six sons, Albert, Henry, and Yvon of Memramcook, Edgar and Sifroi of Moncton, and the Rev. Leo Paul of St. Paul Parish, Kent County; six daughters, Mrs. Bertha Bourgeois of Salem, N. H., Mrs. Emile Cormier (Emilienne) of Dover, Mrs. Laurent Richard (Aurore) of Minto, and Sisters Elodie, Yvonne and Cecile of the Our lady of the Sacred Heart congregation; 36 grandchildren and 43 great grandchilden. The body is resting at Dupuis funeral home, in Memramcook. Funeral mass will be celebrated at the St. Thomas Church at Memramcook, Wednesday. - [S8129] A. D. Mrs. M. LeBlanc St. Joseph (Special) -
The death of Mrs. Marie LeBlanc, widow of Tilmon D. LeBlanc, of Lynn, Mass., and formerly of Memramcook West, occurred Wednesday in hospital in Lynn. She would have been 96 next month. Born in Memramcook West, she was a daughter of the late Jude and Anne (Leger) LeBlanc. Her husband, a well known contractor, died in 1955. She is survived by six sons, Adrien, Avila, Valerie and Albert, all of Lynn, Cleophas of Moncton and Leo Paul LeBlanc of Florida; three daughters, Mrs. Eddie Perron (Bertha) of California, Mrs. Francis Gaudet (Yvonne) and Miss Eliane LeBlanc, both of Lynn; one sister, Mrs. Albert Gaudet of Memramcook West; one brother, Leo LeBlanc of Ottawa, and a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren, nephews and nieces. The body is resting at St. Laurent Funeral Home in Lynn. was in his usual good health until five days prior to his death, when he was stricken with pneumonia. Mr. Leger was a bachelor and he is survived by one brother, Dominique, with whom he resided, and several nephews and neices. Burial took place at St. Thomas cemetery, St. Joseph's following requiem high mass celebrated by Rev. Father J. Fiset, C.S.C., at 9 o'clock on Thursday morning. The pallbearers, all nephews, were, Hypolite, Narcisse and Ovila LeBlanc, Alfred Leger, Memramcook, also Ferdinand and Arthur Leger, of Moncton. There were many spirtual remembrances as well as several floral tributes received. two brothers survive, Dominic and Jude, of this place.
