MONCTON - A l'Hôpital de Moncton, le lundi 6 septembre 1993, à l'âge d 88 ans, est décédé Emile J. Bourque, époux de feu Rosalie (Flett) Bourque (1985), domicilié au 932 Shediac Road à Moncton. Né à Cocagne, il était fils de feu Antoine Bourque et de feu Évangéline Léger.
Il laisse dans le deuil une fille, Carolyn (Hubert King) de Moncton; trois fils: Paul et William, tous deux de Moncton, et Peter de Fairvale; trois soeurs: Rita Goguen de Gardner, Mass., Juliette Leclair de Pompano Beach, Floride, et, Anita (Claude Laselle) de Montréal, Qué.; trois frères: Blair de Shédiac, Léo de Moncton, et Camille de Montréal, Qué., ainsi que 12 petits-enfants, six arrière-petits-enfants et plusieurs neveux et nièces.
Une soeur, Yvonne Boucher, ainsi qu'un frère, Henri, l'ont précédé dans la tombe.
M. Bourque fut membre du Club Lions de Dieppe. La dépouille mortelle est présentement exposée à la Maison funéraire Frenette Ltée, 88 rue Church à Moncton. Les funérailles auront lieu en l'église Christ Roi de Moncton, le jeudi 9 septembre, à 11h et, de là, au cimetière Notre-Dame du Calvaire de Dieppe. Heures de visite: ce mercredi l septembre, de 14h à 16h et de 19h à 21h. et

Death last evening at 11 o'clock removed one of Shediac's oldest residents in the person of Felicien Leger at the age of 86 years. The deceased had been ill for only three weeks and his passing will be mourned by a wide circle of friends both here and in Barachois, where he was born. His passing came as a great shock to his family and friends. He leaves to mourn, his wife (nee Celina LeBlanc) and ten children, (Leonie) Mrs, Arthur Cormier, Upper Aboujagane; (Angeline) Mrs. Anthony Bourque, Shediac; Alfred Leger, Fitchburg, Mass.; (Edith) Mrs. Ben Leger, Shediac; August and Vital Leger, of Fitchburg, Mass.; (Mathilde) Mrs. Philip Landry, of Fitchburg, Mass.; (Polonie) Mrs. Mrs. Adelard Boudreau, Shediac; (Lucie) Mrs. George LeBlanc, of Barachois, and Philip Leger, of Cocagne. The deceased had been residing with Mrs. Adelard Boudreau for the last few years. Vital Leger
Fitchburg, Mass. June 19 - Vital Leger, 52, of 50 Overland St., well known in Franco-American circles, died on Saturday, June 8, at the Burbank Hospital after an illness of about six weeks. He had been employed for 22 years as electrical engineer by Crocker-Burbank and Co. Association. Mr. Leger was born in Barachois, N. B. He Resided in Fitchburg for 31 years and was president of the local council of the Canada Association, a trustee of Fitchburg Aerie, F.O.E., a member of the St. Camille Assumption, and St. Jean Baptist Societies, of the Cable Club, South End National Club, and Brook Mill Sports Club. Surviving Mr. Leger are his wife, Mrs. Bella (Belliveau) Leger; five daughters, Bertha, Irene, Pauline, Corinne, Joan, two sons, Edgar and John, all of Fitchburg; his mother, Mrs. Celina Leger, of Shediac; three sisters, Mrs. Philippe Landry, of Fitchburg; Mrs. Adelard Boudreau, of Shediac, and Mrs. George LeBlanc, of Barachois; three step-sisters, Mrs. Antoine Bourque, Mrs. Ben Leger, of Shediac, and Mrs. Leonie Cormier, of Upper Aboujagan; two brothers, August, of Fitchburg, and Philip, of Cocagne; one step-brother, Alfred, of Fitchburg. The funeral was held June 13 from Mr. Leger's home with a solemn high mass of requiem in Sacred Heart Church, Rev. John E. O'Toole was celebrant; Rev. John M. O'Brien, deacon and Rev. Armand Barrette, of Immaculate Conception Church, was in the sanctuary. The pallbearers were Leo Collette, Aidie Beauchemin, Joseph E. Laprade, Alfred harrison, Hilaire LeBlanc and Camille Belliveau, members of the various clubs and organizations of which Mr. Leger had been a member. Auguste Cormier (1911-2001)
HAUTE-ABOUJAGANE - À l’Hôpital régional Dr Georges-L. Dumont de Moncton, le vendredi 6 avril 2001, à l’âge de 89 ans, est décédé après une courte maladie Auguste Cormier, domicilié au Manoir-de-la-Bûte de Cap-Pelé, mais autrefois de Haute-Aboujagane. Né à Haute-Aboujagane le 29 juillet 1911, il était fils de feu Arthur Cormier et de feu Léonie Léger. Auguste manquera beaucoup à son épouse, Bertha (Boudreau) Cormier du Manoir-de-la-Bûte de Cap-Pelé; à ses six filles: Bernice Petitpas (feu Alcide), Simone Petitpas (Alyre), Antoinette LeBlanc (Régis), Géraldine Belliveau (Yvon), Jeannette Ouellette (Clorice) et Juliette Boudreau (Coral), toutes de Haute-Aboujagane; ses trois soeurs: Exelda LeBlanc (feu Adolphe) de Dieppe, Céline Cormier (feu Fred) et Mathilda Cormier, toutes deux de Sackville, ainsi que 23 petits-enfants, 33 arrière-petits-enfants, un arrière-arrière-petit-enfant et plusieurs neveux nièces. Deux frères: Camille et Henri, ainsi que deux soeurs: Agnes et Anna Richard, l’ont précédé dans la tombe. Avant de prendre sa retraite, Auguste était charpentier. Il était membre du Club de l’âge d’or et de la paroisse Sacré-Coeur de Haute-Aboujagane. La dépouille mortelle est présentement exposée à la Maison funéraire Frenette ltée, 396, rue Main à Shédiac (532-3297). Les funérailles auront lieu en l’église Sacré-Coeur de Haute-Aboujagane, le lundi 9 avril, à 14h. Le père Guy Légendre sera le célébrant. L’inhumation se fera au cimetière paroissial, plus tard ce printemps. Heures de visites: le lundi 9 avril, de 13h jusqu’à l’heure du départ à 13h40. He Resided in Fitchburg for 31 years and was president of the local council of the Canada Association, a trustee of Fitchburg Aerie, F.O.E., a member of the St. Camille Assumption, and St. Jean Baptist Societies, of the Cable Club, South End National Club, and Brook Mill Sports Club.
