    There passed peacefully away on October 21 in Vancouver, B.C., Mrs. Elizabeth Leger, widow of Severe Leger, of Leger Corner, N.B. Mrs. Leger, who was born in 1840, had lived near Moncton most of her life before removing to Winnipeg, and for the last eight years had resided in Vancouver. She is survived by two brothers, Daniel Leger, of Shediac, N.B., and Thomas, of Walpole, Mass., and four daughters, Mrs. Melanie LeBlanc, of Boston; Miss Barbara Leger, of Winnipeg; Mrs. Philomene Arnau and Mrs. Marie L. Bourque, of Vancouver, with who she resided.
    Note: Should be survived by two sons (Not Brothers).

    Daniel Leger, of the Dorchester Road district, has received word of the death of his mother, Mrs. Severe Leger, in Vancouver, B.C. She passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Marie Bourque, with whom she hed resided for 25 years. The deceased was ninety-six years of age and was formerly Elizabeth Doiron. Mrs. Leger was a native of Leger Corner. She had a keen mind and possessed all her faculties until the end, which was quite sudden. The deceased was a woman of fine christian character, loved by all that knew her. Before her marriage she was a school teacher, first at Minudie, N.S., and for several years in Leger Corner. She is survive by two sons, Daniel, of the Dorchester Road, and Thomas, of Walpole, Mass., also four daughters, Mrs. Melande LeBlanc, of Watertown, Mass.; Miss Barbara Leger, teacher of Winnipeg; Mrs. Philomene Arneau, of Leger Corner, and Mrs. Marie Bourque, of Vancouver. Interment was in Vancouver.

    Mrs. Michael Arneau -
    The death of Mrs. Michael Arneau, a highly esteemed resident of Leger Corner, occurred in Hotel Dieu Hospital yesterday morning after a brief illness. She was 71 years of age. Left to mourn her passing in addition to her many friends in Leger Corner and elsewhere are two brothers, Thomas Leger, of Westport, Mass., and Daniel Leger, of Shediac, also two sisters, Mrs. Pheslias Bourque and Miss Babe Leger, of Vancouver. The funeral was held from Central Funeral Home, Lewisville, yesterday afternoon at 4 o'clock with Rev. Fr. Daigle, parish priest of Leger Corner conducting the funeral service and the commital service at the graveside. Interment was made in the Shediac Road Cemetery. High mass of requiem will be sung in St, Therese's church, Leger Corner, on Tuesday morning.

He was born at Leger Corner, N. B., the son of the late Severe and Elizabeth Leger. Deceased is survived by his wife, one daughter, Eleanor, and two sons, Paul and Edmond, also by one brother, Daniel S. Leger, Shediac, N.B., and two sisters, Mrs. Philias Bourque (Marie) and Miss Barbara Leger, both of Vancouver, B.C.

    Mrs. Abraham Cormier -
    The funeral took place at St Joseph's Cemetery Shediac, Thursday morning of Mrs. Cormier, who passed away Tuesday morning at the home of her son-in-law, Mr. Dan Leger, on the Dorchester Road. The late Mrs. Cormier, who had reached the advanced age of 88, had lived her life time in this part of the country and was most highly esteemed by her neighbours and the many who knew her. She is survived by six daughters, Mrs. Nap Leger, of Leger's Corner, Mrs. Dan Leger, of Dorchester Road, Mrs. Sam Gautier and Miss. Henritta Cormier, of Shediac, and the Misses Marcella and Alice Cormier, of Moncton. The latter were home for the funeral which was conducted by Rev. Father LeBlanc. The Pallbearers were Messrs. D. Leger and S. Gautier, of Shediac, and Messrs. McEncrowe, Connrs, Landrigan and Murphy, of the Dorchester Road.

Mrs. Leger was a native of Leger Corner. She had a keen mind and possessed all her faculties until the end, which was quite sudden. The deceased was a woman of fine christian character, loved by all that knew her. Before her marriage she was a school teacher, first at Minudie, N.S., and for several years in Leger Corner. She is survive by two sons, Daniel, of the Dorchester Road, and Thomas, of Walpole, Mass., also four daughters, Mrs. Melande LeBlanc, of Watertown, Mass.; Miss Barbara Leger, teacher of Winnipeg; Mrs. Philomene Arneau, of Leger Corner, and Mrs. Marie Bourque, of Vancouver. Interment was in Vancouver.

    Thomas Leger -
    Friends and Relatives in New Brunswick were shocked to learn of the sudden death of Thomas Leger, which occurred of Sept. 23 at his home, 128 School street, Walpole, Mass., at the age of 67 years. He was born at Leger Corner, N. B., the son of the late Severe and Elizabeth Leger. Deceased is survived by his wife, one daughter, Eleanor, and two sons, Paul and Edmond, also by one brother, Daniel S. Leger, Shediac, N.B., and two sisters, Mrs. Philias Bourque (Marie) and Miss Barbara Leger, both of Vancouver, B.C.

    Mrs. Michael Arneau -
    The death of Mrs. Michael Arneau, a highly esteemed resident of Leger Corner, occurred in Hotel Dieu Hospital yesterday morning after a brief illness. She was 71 years of age. Left to mourn her passing in addition to her many friends in Leger Corner and elsewhere are two brothers, Thomas Leger, of Westport, Mass., and Daniel Leger, of Shediac, also two sisters, Mrs. Pheslias Bourque and Miss Babe Leger, of Vancouver. The funeral was held from Central Funeral Home, Lewisville, yesterday afternoon at 4 o'clock with Rev. Fr. Daigle, parish priest of Leger Corner conducting the funeral service and the commital service at the graveside. Interment was made in the Shediac Road Cemetery. High mass of requiem will be sung in St, Therese's church, Leger Corner, on Tuesday morning.
