    BERLIN —- Adele Leah (Legere) Labrecque, 82, cf 747 Kent St., formerly of 12 Granite St., died on Jan. 10, 2004 at Androscoggin Valley Hospital.

    Born in Westbrook, Me. on Sept. 23, 1921, she was the daughter of Arthur and Rose (Pinette) Legere.
    She was graduated from Jay High School in Maine in 1939. While living in Berlin, she was a housekeeper for St. Vincent de Paul Nursing Home for seven years. She was a member of Guardian Angel Church, now known as Good Shepherd Parish, and was an honorary member of the Ladies of St. Anne.
    She was a volunteer at the Holiday Center, MESH, Senior Meals and RSVP, where she knitted lap robes for the nursing homes and baby bonnets for AIDS babies. Mrs. Labrecque had camped at Israel Campground in Jefferson since 1975. Her favorite pastime was spending time with her family.
    The family includes five sons, Daniel Labrecque of Kankakee, Ill., Conrad Labrecque of Concord, Paul Labrecque of Berlin, Raymond Labrecque of Dummer and Andre Labrecque of Stark; five daughters, Dianne Arenburg, Anita Villeneuve and Corinne King all of Berlin, Pameia Legendre of Randolph and
    Gail Doherty of Gorham; 27 grandchiidren and 17 great—grandchiidren. Her husband, Paul J. Labrecque, died on July 21, 1995.

    Calling hours were heid on Monday at Fleury-Patry Funeral Home in Berlin and a Mass of Christian buriai was celebrated on Tuesday at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish. Interment will be in St. Kieran Cemetery. Memoriai donations may be made to the Hoiiday Center, 27 Green Square, Berlin, NH 03570.

    Pacifique E. Bourque
    Many friends and relatives in Moncton and other parts of the county learned with sorrow yesterday of the death in Harford, Conn., of Pacifique E. Bourque, formeer resident of this city. Mr. Bourque died Tuesday evening after a lengthy illness. He was 80 years of age and a former employee of the Stores Separtment , Canadian National Railways here. He had been on pension for considerable time. Mr. Bourque had made his home during the winter months in Hartford, and in Moncton and Shediac during the summer. He was a native of Cape Bald and was a school teacher in that district. Later he conducted a general store there until he entered the service of the railway here. He was twice married and is survivied by his wife, one son, J. Henry Bourque, of east Roxbury, Mass., and three daughters, Mrs. Willie Leger, Shediac; Mrs. L.P. Bourque and Mrs. C. W. McQuinn, of this city. The body is to be brought to Moncton for burial, though arrangements for the funeral have not been completed.

    Mrs. Arthemise LeBlanc, 92, of Villa Providence, Shediac, widow of Blair LeBlanc and formally of Robichaud, died Sunday at the residence after a lengthy illness. Born in Petit Cap, she was a daughter of the late Calixte and Suzanne (Leger) LeBlanc [sic for Melanson]. A retired employee of Emile J. Bourque fish processing plant, Leger Brook, she attended St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Shediac. She was a former member of Les Dames Chretienne, Cap Pele. Her husband died in 1967. She is survivied by a daughter, Mrs. Patrick Leger (Lumina) of Villa Providence; a son, Yvon of Robichaud; five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. A daughter, Alvina, died previously. The body is at St. Therese d'Avilla Roman Catholic Church where funeral mass will be celebrated Wednesday at 10 a.m. Interment will be in the parish cemetery in the spring. Arrangements are in the care of Frenette's Funeral Home, Shediac.

    BASILICE LEGER

    PORT ELGIN - Mrs. Basilie Leger, 92, of Westford Nursing Home in Port Elgin and formerly of CapPele, passed away at the Sackville Memorial Hospital in Sackville on Monday, July 3, 1995.

    Born on July 21, 1902 in St. Andre, she was the daughter of the late Florien and Charlotte (Cormier) Cormier. She was a retired employee with Paturel Seafood Ltd. with 12 years service. She attended Ste. Therese d'Avila Roman Catholic church in Cap Pele.

    She is survived by two sons, Ulysse Leger and his wife Simonne of Cap Pele, Valerie Leger and his wife Yvonne of Cap Pele; five grandchildren; several great grandchildren. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was predeceased by her husband, Antonin Leger, on July 2, 1981.

    Resting at Ste. Therese d'Avila Roman Catholic Church Hall in Cap Pele with visiting hours on Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral mass will be held at Ste. Therese d'Avila Roman Catholic Church in Cap Pele on Wednesday, July 5, 1995 at 11 a.m. Interment in Cap Pele Roman Catholic Parish Cemetery.

    The death of Mrs. Helen Landry, widow of Eddie Landry, of Cap Pele, occurred Friday at the Dr. Georges Dumont Hospital in Moncton following a lengthy illness. She was 83. Born in Cap Pele, she was a daughter of the late Raymond and Francoise (Leger) Leger. She was a member of the Cap Pele Roman Catholic Church. She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Loretta Landry, Dupuis Corner; Mrs. Rheal Cormier (Yolande), Fitchburg, Mass.; Mrs. Robert Doiron (Anna Marie) Cap Pele and Mrs. Adrice Doiron (Rosanna), Dupuis Corner and three sons, Calisle, Moncton and Rodolph and Azar, both of Cap Pele. Also surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Melina Boudreau, Cap Pele and Mrs. Carle Richard, St Anselme and a brother, Gilbert Leger, Cap Pele and 35 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. The body is resting at Frenette's funeral home in Shediac. The funeral mass will be celebrated Monday at 11:15 a.m. at the Cap Pele cemetery vault to await burial in the spring.

    David C. Leger, one of the oldest residents of the province and a highly esteemed resident of the parish of Botsford, died last night at the home of his son, David Leger, Little Cape, with whom he had resided since he removed from the family homestead in Shemogue. Death was due to old age. Mr. Leger was born in Shemogue in 1837, the year Queen Victoria ascended the throne, a son of the late Casimie and Rose (Petitpas) Leger. His wife, formerly Miss Anastasia Cormier, passed away last summer. Surviving are one son, David, and a daughter, Mrs. John Duguay, of Botsford Portage; four brothers, Dominique C. Leger, West Saint John; Cyrille C. Leger, of the Providence St. Joseph Home, Shediac; Hypolite C. Leger and Thadde C. Leger, both of Little Cape; and three sisters, Mrs. Pascal Caissie, Shediac; Mrs. Mary Jacobs, widow of Louis Jacobs, Sr., and Mrs. Pascal LeBlanc, both of Little Cape.     Relatives have received word of the death of Max T. Gould (Doiron), a highly respected and well known resident of Great Shemogue, parish of Botsford, who passed away yesterday afternoon at the home of his son, former Councillor Thaddee M. Gould of the latter place, with whom he had lived for several years. The late M. Gould had been in ill-health a long time, but his death was sudden. He was born at Little Cape, parish of Botsford, 82 years ago, a son of the late Thaddee Gould of that place. About 25 years ago he purchased the large place of the late Charles Avard, Great Shemogue. and became a prosperous farmer. Mr. Gould is survived by his wife, formerly Miss Dina Hebert, of Dupuis Corner, parish of Shediac; two sons, Patrick, of Leger Corner, parish of Moncton, and Thaddee; a daughter, Mrs. Patrick Cormier, of Great Shemogue; two brothers, Laurient T.     Mrs. Joseph S. Leger Shediac, Sept. 1 -
    Mrs. Joseph S. Leger, a highly esteemed resident, of Little Cape, parish of Botsford, passed away at her home on Sunday evening after an illness of several months. Mrs. Leger was 68 years of age and was formerly Miss Domethilde Doiron. Her husband died abour 14 years ago. She is survived by three brothers, Laurent T. Doiron, well known general merchant of Shediac, Mark Doiron, of Shemogue, and Philip Doiron of Little Cape, and two sisters, Mrs. Christine Hebert, wife of Raymond Hebert, C.N.R. freight agent, Shediac, and Mrs. Thaddee Leger, Little Cape. Dr. Leo Doiron, prominent physician and surgeon of Moncton is a nephew. The funeral took place at nine o'clock this morning at St. Theresa's Roman Catholic Church, Cape Bauld, Rev. Father Donat Robichaud, pastor, and was very largely attended. Burial was in the Cape Bauld cemetery.

    Originaire de Sackville, elle était la fille de feu Ferdinand et Délima LeBlanc-Léger.
    Elle fut présidente et était actuellement membre de la Légion canadienne des femmes auxiliaires, numéro 33 de Shédiac. Elle était maître enseignante à Montréal pendant la 2e Guerre mondiale.
    Elle laisse dans le deuil un fils: Michael Poirier, de Shediac Bridge; trois soeurs: Mme Alban Richard (Marguerite) et Mme Joseph Léger (Mary), toutes deux de Shediac Bridge, et Mme Amédée Gallant (Dianna), de Grande-Digue; trois frères: Tilmon Léger, de Cap-Pelé; Léandre et Joseph Léger, tous deux de Shediac Bridge.

    Death on Thursday morning removed one of the most highly respected citizens of Robichaud Office in the person of Mr. Mark Thibodeau who died after a short illness at his home, at the age of 90 years. The deceased was a life long resident of that place and had made a wide circle of friends who will deeply regret to learn of his passing. He took a keen interest in the community in which he lived and always gave a helping hand to his neighboring farmers. He leaves to mourn his wife (nee Sarah Landry) and four sons, Hyacinthe, at home, and two daughters, (Sarah) Mrs. Edward Caissie, of the Moncton Road, and Mrs. Stanislas Leger, Dupuis Corner. Three brothers, Henry Thibodeau, of New Bedford, Mass.; Felicien and Peter, of Shediac, and one sister, who is a nun in the order of the Sisters of Providence, stationed in Memramcook, also survive. The funeral service took place Saturday morning from St. Henry's Church, Barachois, at 8 o'clock with Rev. Father Edgar LeBlanc celebrating mass. The pallbearers were Lionel, Philip, Arthur and Alphonse Caissie, nephews of the deceased. Charles Niles and Emery Leger. There were a large number of mass cards and cards of Sympathy.

    Outre son épouse, il laisse dans le deuil une fille, Bertha (Émile LeBlanc), de Cap-Pelé; un fils, Yvon, de Shédiac Bridge; trois soeurs: Alida (Élisée Saulnier), de Toronto, Corinne LeBlanc, de Moncton, et Lucie (Éric Léger), de Barachois; sept frères: Léo, de Shédiac, Gérard, de Moncton, Aldor, Valérie et Paul, tous de Toronto; Oswald (Ozzie), du Maine (É.-U.), et Adélard, de l'Angleterre, ainsi que 19 petits-enfants et 11 arrière-petits-enfants.
    Un frère, Albert, l'a précédé dans la tombe.
    La dépouille mortelle est présentement exposée en l'église Sainte-Thérèse d'Avila de Cap-Pelé. Les funérailles auront eu le samedi 14 octobre à 10h en l'église Sainte-Thérèse d'Avila de Cap-Pelé, et de là au cimetière de l'endroit.

    MONCTON - A l'Hôpital de Moncton, le lundi 6 septembre 1993, à l'âge d 88 ans, est décédé Emile J. Bourque, époux de feu Rosalie (Flett) Bourque (1985), domicilié au 932 Shediac Road à Moncton. Né à Cocagne, il était fils de feu Antoine Bourque et de feu Évangéline Léger.
    Il laisse dans le deuil une fille, Carolyn (Hubert King) de Moncton; trois fils: Paul et William, tous deux de Moncton, et Peter de Fairvale; trois soeurs: Rita Goguen de Gardner, Mass., Juliette Leclair de Pompano Beach, Floride, et, Anita (Claude Laselle) de Montréal, Qué.; trois frères: Blair de Shédiac, Léo de Moncton, et Camille de Montréal, Qué., ainsi que 12 petits-enfants, six arrière-petits-enfants et plusieurs neveux et nièces.
    Une soeur, Yvonne Boucher, ainsi qu'un frère, Henri, l'ont précédé dans la tombe.

She leaves to mourn her husband and three daughters, Mrs. Edmond Duguay, of Leger Brook; Mrs. Philias Richard, and Mrs. Blair LeBlanc, of Little Cape; one brother, Julien Leger, of Lynn, Mass., and two sisters, Mrs. Samuel Richard and Mrs. Pacific Bourque, of Great Shemogue. The funeral will be held on Thursday morning with high mass of requiem at nine o'clock in St. Theresa's Church, Cape Bauld, with Rev. Father Donat Robichaud officiating.

    Philip H. LeBlanc Shediac, Feb. 5 -
    The death of Philip H. LeBlanc occurred at the home of his son, Adolphe LeBlanc, at Little Cape, on Monday at 8 p.m. The deceased was 81 years of age and had been ill a month. He is survived by his wife, who before her marriage was Justine Brun, of Cape Bauld; two daughters, (Pelagie) Mrs. Andrea Jacob, Little Cape, and Mrs. Ferdinand Leger, Shediac Cape, and three sons, Arthur, Charles and Adolphe, all of Little Cape. Three brothers, Edward, of Lewisville, Jake,of Shediac and Patrick, of Auburn, Mass., and one sister, Mrs. Ruphene Pellerin, of Shediac, also survive. The funeral took place Wednesday morning at St. Timothy's Church, Shemougue, at 8 o'clock. High mass was sung by Rev. Father Camille LeBlanc. The pallbearers were nephews of the deceased, Adolphe A. LeBlanc, Edward and Fred LeBlanc, Clovis Jacob, Philip and Adolphe LeBlanc.
