    Roger A. LeBlanc, 82, of Virginia Street, Dieppe, passed away at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital on sunday, October 15, 1995 after a brief illness. Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late Albert and Bella (Bourque) LeBlanc. He was the co-founder of Mother's Own Bakery and was active int he business from 1949 to 1962 until retirement. He attended At. Anselme Roman Catholic Church in Dieppe. He was a long standing member of the Beausejour Curlling Club. He is survived by two sons, Bernie and his wife Louise of Halifax, N.S., charles and his wife Joanne of Halifax, N.S.; two sisters, Marie LeBlanc and her husband Narcice of St Anseline and Lorette LeBlanc of Moncton; one brother Albert LeBlanc and his wife Anita of Dieppe; one grandchild, Liette LeBlanc of Halifax, N.S. He was predeceased by his wife, Fernande (Girouard) LeBlanc in 1990, two sisters, Marguerite Leger and Rolande LeBlanc, one brother, Edmour. Resting at Frenette's Funeral Home, 88 Church Street, Oncton with visiting hours on Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral mass will be held at St. Anselme Roman Catholic Church in Dieppe on Wednesday, October 18, 1995 at 11 a.m. Interment in St. Anselme Roman Catholic Cemetery in Dieppe.     80, Joggins, widow of Ambroise Legere, died Sunday at Shediac Nursing Home. She had been a patient at the Nursing Home for the past four and one half years. She was born in Upper Aboujagane, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Sylvain Gauthier.She was a member of the St. Thomas Acquinas Roman Catholic Church. Her husband died in 1951. Surviving are three daughters, Neta (Mrs. Roy Murphy) and Julia (Mrs. Pearly Wheaton), both of Joggins and Mrs. Freda Whittle of Hamilton, Ont. Five sons, Dennis and Albert , Toronto. Ernest, Hamilton, Ont. Edgar, St. Catherines, Ont. and Philip of Joggins. Also 14 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. The body is at the home of her son, Philip Legere in Joggins. Funeral mass will be held from St. Thomas Acquinas Roman Catholic Church in Joggins Wednesday at 9. Burial in Ragged Reef Cemetery.

He was predeceased by a sister Huberte Ryan and a brother Paul Leger.

Living in Banning, California for over 20 years, she returned to Moncton in 1996 to live with her daughter, Carol and family. Doris was a very active member of the Southern Baptist Church of Banning, teaching Sunday School for several years and was an active volunteer with the Pink Ladies at San Gorgonian Pass Memorial Hospital for many years before her health started to deteriorate. Doris was a very loving wife, mother and grandmother who always could find the good in every situation and person, no matter what the situation. Doris will be sadly missed by her daughter, Carol McClure (Mike), Berry Mills; son, Paul Leger, St. Antoine; grandchildren, Robin Chappell, Berry Mills and Kathy Picard (James), BC; step-grandchildren, Donald McClure (Jessie), Greenwood, NS, Angela Conrad (David), Halifax, NS, and Colin McClure, Berry Mills; eight great grandchildren; and brother, Hudson G. Francis (Clara), Riverview. Doris was predeceased by her husband, Harold H. Wise in 1998; son, Brian Leger in 2003; grandson, Steven Chappell in 1983.     SHEDIAC - Mr. E. Harold Breau, 83, of Shediac, passed away on Saturday, March 22, 1997, at The Moncton Hospital.

    Born in Sackville, N.B., he was the son of the late William Albert Breau and the late Eugenie Mary Landry.

    He was retired as a Distribution Manager for Catelli-Five Roses Flour. He enjoyed playing darts, cards and attended St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church in Shediac.

    He is survived by two daughters, Harolyn Rioux (Robert) of Fredericton, Dorothy Boudreau (Roger) of Barachois; four sons, Robert (Francine), Paul (Donna), Peter (Therese) and Raymond Breau all of Shediac; 15 grandchildren. He was the last survivor of his immediate family. He was predeceased by his wife, the late Juliette Anna (Leger) Breau; two sisters, Jean Smith and Dorothy Howard; and three brothers, Raymond, Gerald and Francis.

    Remains rested at Frenette Funeral Home, Shediac on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. The funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, March 24, 1997 from St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, Shediac. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.

Born in La Montain, NB, she was the daughter of the late Francis and the late Déssie (née: Cormier) Leger. She is survived by five daughters, Jeannette (Jean-Guy) Haché, Diane (Roger) Doucette, both of Moncton, Louise (Daniel) Mitchell of Cardigan, PE, Janice (Eric) Christensen of Ottawa, ON, and Nadine (Clarence) Richard of Dieppe; three sons, Francis (Catherine) of Shediac Bridge, Paul (Marlene) of Dixon Point and Terry of Shediac; four sisters, Adrienne (Raoul) Gaudet of Scarborough, ON, Alice Leger of Shediac Bridge, Dorice (Donald) Poirier and Patsy Murray, both of Dieppe; three brothers, Arthur (Late Flo) of Moncton, Père Omer Leger, c.j.m. of Dieppe and Raymond (Doris) of Moncton; one sister-in-law, Eva Leger of Dieppe; 18 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren; as well as by several nieces and nephews.     Richibucto (Special) - Miss Lucille Robichaud, 66, of Richibucto, died Tuesday, Feb. 28, 1989, at Dr. Georges L. Dumont Hospital, Moncton, after a short illness. Born in Richibucto, she was a daughter of the late Louis and Laurette (Langis) Robichaud. She was a member of St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church and CWL. She attended grammer school in Richibucto, Sacred Heart Convent in Buctouche and commercial college. She received nurcing training at St. Joseph's Hospital, Saint John. She returned to Richibucto in 1941 and was assistant to her father, the secretary of Kent County. Succeeding him in 1955, she became the first woman to serve as secretary-treasurer of a New Brunswick municipality. In 1960, when the Program of Equal Opportunity divided the province into regions, she became the first woman named as government representative of a region, a position she held until she retired in 1980. She is survived by four sisters, Mrs. Raymond Leger (Rita) of Hollywood, Fla., Miss Carmella Robichaud of Bathurst; Miss Theresa Robichaud and Miss Loretta Robichaud, both of Richibucto; four brothers, Dr. L. J. Yves Robichaud of Summerside, P.E.I.; Dr. L.P.A. Robichaud of Foy, Que.; Dr. J. Langis Robichaud of Moncton and Dr. Adrien J.T. Robichaud of Amherst, N.s.; 21 nieces and nephews and six great-nieces and great-nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Mrs. Norman Bourque (Stella). Her remains rested in THompson's Funeral Home, Richibucto. Funeral mass was celebrated Saturday, March 4 at St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church, Richibucto. Burial will be in the parish cemetery in the spring.

He enjoyed golf, fishing, photography and music. He is survived by his wife of 28 years, the former Carmel Ann Sauveur; on son, Michael Charles of Calgary, Alta.; one daughter, Diana Lynn of Brookdale; one granddaughter, Gillian Carmel; a dear aunt, Millie Legere of Amherst; and several nieces and nephews. he was predeceased by infant sister, Lottie, and a brother Alphonse, on Feb. 18, 1989. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. His remains rested at Campbell's Funeral Home, Amherst, from where parish prayers were held Sunday evening. Funeral service will be held today at 10 a.m. from St. Charles Roman Catholic Church, conducted by Fr. Louis Caissie. Burial will be in St. Charles Cemetery at a later date. He worked as a baker with Canadian Bread of Toronto for over 30 years until retiring in 1976 and returned to Joggins in 1978. He was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Roman Catholic Church, Joggins, and the Knights of Columbus Council 2916, Amherst. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch No. 4 and the Joggins Senior Citizens Club. He is survived by his wife, the former Agnes (Noonie) Cormier; two sisters, Mrs. Neta Murphy, Joggins, Mrs. Freda Whittle, Hamilton; a brother Edgar; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister, Julia Wheaton; three brothers Philip, Ernest, Albert. The body is at home of his wife Agnes in Joggins where parish prayers will be held today at 8 p.m. The funeral mass will be 2 p.m. Friday, St. Thomas Aquinas Roman Catholic Church, Father Philippe Thibodeau officiating. Burial will be in Ragged Reef Cemetery.

    82, 2630 Gottingen St., Northwood Manor, Halifax, passed away suddenly in QEII Health Sciences Centre, Infirmary Site, on January 20, 1997. He was a son of the late Thadee and Sara (Melanson) LeBlanc, Moncton, N.B. He served overseas from 1939-1945 with the Royal Canadian Army Service Corps (14th Field Ambulance) and was retired from HMC Dockyards. He attended St. Joseph's Church. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Scotia Branch 25 for 40 years, where he served on several committees; member of Canadian Army Service Corps Association (Atlantic); life member of Windsor Park Warrant Officers and Sergeants Mess and the 14th Field Ambulance Association RCAMC. He was a member of Knights of Columbus 3rd degree, 1097 Council. Ralph was predeceased by his wife of 59 years, Lena, in July of 1996. Surviving are son, Roger and wife Marg, Tantallon; sisters, Irene LeBlanc, Dora Paquette, Montreal, Que.; Marguerite Leger, Moncton, N.B.; grandchildren, Ann Marie Smith and husband David, Tantallon; Heather Dawn LeBlanc, Toronto, Ont.; great-grandchild, Jason Smith; many nieces and nephews.     A large number of relatives and friends attended the funeral of Mrs. Armand Goguen, wife of Armand Goguen, of Notre Dame, which took place this morning from the family residence. A high mass of requiem was chanted in Notre Dame Church by Rev. Father Arthur Leger. P.P., after which burial took place in the parish cemetery. The pallbearers were Joseph and Laurie Cormier, Paul, Aris, Gerard and Edmond Goguen, all grandsons of the deceased. The late Mrs. Goguen was a native of Notre Dame, being born 82 years ago. Four years ago Mr. and Mrs. Goguen celebrated their diamond wedding anniversary on which occasion they were specially honored with a message of congratulation from the King and Queen. The chief mourners were a daughter, Mrs. Clovis Cormier, six sons, Joseph Lucien, Ottawa; Medore, Cocagne; Adelard, Lewisville; Clovis, Napadogan; Laurie, Gardner, Mass., and Armand, Notre Dame; also three sisters, Mrs. Louis Cormier, of Notre Dame; Mrs. Adelard Leger, Grand Digue; Mrs. Aime Cormier, Notre Dame; two brothers, Mr. Malcolm Cormier, Cocagne, and Mr. Emilien Cormier, Notre Dame. The ladies of Ste. Anne's Soladity attended in a body. Many spritual offerings were received by the family from relatives and friends and also a beautiful spray of flowers from the staff of the Railway Mail Service branch of the Post Office Dept. Ottawa. Born in Milltown, NB, on June 3, 1925, she was a daughter of the late Hebert and Annie (Francoeur) Cavanaugh. Rita was dedicated to her faith and was a member of St. Pius X Church. She was a member of the Home and School Program, Blockparent and the CWL. Rita was an avid volunteer at St. Joseph's Hospital, where she was a "fixture" in the lobby, selling tickets for fundraisers. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and a devoted wife of 58 years. Besides her husband, Rita is survived by her sons, Joseph (Deborah) of Saint John, Wm. Michael of Vancouver, BC, Dr. John L.     Gordon K. He enjoyed gardening, bird watching, crafts, was an avid walker, was well known for his quick wit, humour, friendly smile, but first and foremost was his love for his family.     BAS-CAP-PELÉ - C’est avec grande tristesse que nous annonçons le décès de Gérard Gautreau survenu à son domicile à Crown Point, Indiana, le samedi 5 janvier 2008. Il est décédé paisiblement, après une longue lutte contre le cancer, en présence de sa deuxième épouse, Katie et de sa famille. Né à Bas-Cap-Pelé le 18 janvier 1940, il était fils d’Élizabeth et de feu Donat Gautreau.

    Il laisse dans le deuil sa mère, Élizabeth (Vautour) Gautreau; ses quatre enfants: Michele de Cambridge, Christopher (Kristina) de Moncton, Michael (Erin) de Nouvelle-Écosse et Jeffrey de Calgary; ses frères et soeurs: Jeannine (Antoine Léger), Sr Thérèse et Bernard (Géraldine), tous de Moncton, Yvon (Jeannine) de Shédiac, Léo-Paul (Raymonde) de Dieppe, Bernice (Frank Wayboda) d’Ottawa et Lorraine de Montréal, ainsi que la mère de ses enfants, Sandra Gautreau de Shédiac.
    Son père, Donat, ainsi que sa soeur, Léona, l’ont précédé dans la tombe.

    À l’âge de 17 ans, il s’enrôla dans la marine et navigua pendant quatre ans sur le HMCS Bonaventure. Par la suite, il déménagea sa famille à Shédiac, où il était bien connu de la communauté sous le nom de "The Cable Man". Par la suite, il voyagea de par le monde pour installer des câbles à Aruba, à Trinidad, en Martinique, en Guadeloupe et en Mongolie.

    Une messe pour célébrer sa vie aura lieu en l’église Notre-Dame-de-la-Paix, le vendredi 18 janvier, à 14 h.

    Mrs. Cormier, widow of Damien Cormier, died recently at the age of 87 years. Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Frances Cormier of Lynn, Mass., four sons, Malcolm Cormier of Cocagne, Emilien Cormier at home, Adolphe Cormier of Salem, Mass., and Dost Cormier of Gardner Mass., and six daughters, Mrs. Amand Goguen and Mrs. Louis Cormier, both of Notre Dame, Kent County; Mrs. Aime Cormier, of Cocagne, Mrs. Peter Roy of Moncton. Mrs. Francis Cormier of New Westminster, B.C. and Mrs. Adelard Leger of Grand Digue, Kent County. The funeral at the parish church was largely attended. The pallbearers were Delphin Goguen, Livain Goguen, Onesime Cormier, Alyre Cormier, Alfred Cormier and Paul Cormier, all grandsons of the late Mrs. Cormier. There were a large number of spiritual remembrances.

    GRANDE-DIGUE - À sa résidence, le samedi 9 février 2008, à l’âge de 70 ans, est décédé paisiblement, après une lutte difficile contre le cancer Donald G. Fontaine, domicilié à Grande-Digue. Né à MacDougall Settlement le 17 décembre 1937, il était fils de feu Georges Fontaine et de feu Argentina Blanchard.

    Il laisse dans le deuil son épouse dévouée, Claudette (Leger); son fils, Dr Daniel (Dre Cynthia Hickey) de Terre-Neuve; ses petits-enfants: Grace Lynne et Jack; son frère: Roger Fontaine (Simone), de Sudbury, Ont., ses soeurs: Yolande Léger (Valmond) de Saint-Antoine, Bernice Poirier (feu Léo) de Shediac Bridge, Venolia Léger (feu Joseph) de Moncton et Patricia Vallant (feu Ron) de Calgary.
    Une fille, Lynne (1993), l’a précédé dans la tombe.

    M. Fontaine était un professeur reconnu et respecté et un comptable dans sa région, qui aimait passer du temps avec ses amis et sa famille. Après, près d’un demi-siècle d’enseignement au Oulton’s Business College, il a été bénévole au St. Pats Family Center, au Club Lion et au Karing Kitchen de Moncton, et pour le Seuil de l’Espoir de Grande-Digue. Il sera grandement regretté par plusieurs durant la saison de l’impôt. Il avait une mémoire des événements et des détails qui impressionnait les privilégiés témoins de son don. Il sera grandement regretté, mais jamais oublié par tous ceux et celles qui le connaissaient si bien.

    La dépouille mortelle sera exposée de 14h à 16h, le mardi 12 février, à la Coopérative funéraire Passage de Shediac Bridge. Un service funèbre privé sera annoncé à une date ultérieure.

    Donald G. Fontaine, 70, of Grande-Digue passed away peacefully at home on February 9, 2008 following a lengthy, frustrating battle with cancer. Donald was born in McDougall Settlement on December 17, 1937 to the late Georges Fontaine and the late Argentina Blanchard. He was a well known and respected teacher and accountant in the local region who enjoyed spending time with friends and family. Following nearly half a century of teaching at Oulton's Business College, he volunteered his time to St Pats Family Center, Lion's Club and Karing Kitchen in Moncton and Seuil de L'Espoir in Grande Digue. He will be certainly missed by many as the taxation season is fast approaching. His memory for events and details would impress all that were privileged to witness this phenomenal gift. He will be greatly missed but always remembered by those who knew him well. He was predeceased by one daughter, Lynne (1993). He is survived by devoted wife, Claudette (Leger); son, Dr. Daniel (Dr. Cynthia Hickey), Newfoundland; two grandchildren, Grace Lynne and Jack; brother, Roger Fontaine (Simone) from Sudbury, Ontario; four sisters, Yolande Leger (Valmond) St. Antoine; Bernice Poirier (late Leo) Shediac Bridge; Venolia Leger (late Joseph), Moncton; Patricia Vallant (late Ron), Calgary.     BISHOP, NEDDIE RUSSELL The death of Neddie Russell Bishop of Upper Salmon Creek, NB occurred Tuesday, February 12th, 2008 at the Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born in Salmon Creek, NB he was the son of the late G. Russell and Valerie Blanche (Higgins) Bishop. Retiring in 2005 after 42 years with Grand Lake Timber, Neddie was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch No. 74, Chipman, the Masonic Lodge and the Chipman Fish and Game Association. He was a very active volunteer with Chipman Community Care and was well known as everybody's "Mr. Fix it". Neddie is survived by his loving wife, Heather (Wasson) Bishop; a stepson, Shawn King of Janetville, ON; a brother, Kevin-John Bishop of Chipman; his sisters, Joey Niles (Herry) of Fredericton, Rubye Leger (Paul) of Rothesay and Laverne Legge of Quispamsis; a brother-in-law, John Wasson (Ursula) of Wyveale, ON; a sister-in-law, Bonnie Brown (George) of Ottawa, ON; 2 aunts, Verna Waddelow of Fredericton and Myra Colwell of Chipman; an uncle, Murray Higgins (Mona) of Chipman; several nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews.     A pretty wedding of interest to a large circle of friends and relatives in New Brunswick and Quebec took place on Saturday morning in St. Patrick's Church, Rivere du Loup, Que., when Miss Marie Therese Theriault, daughter of Alexander C. Theriault and the late Mrs. Theriault, Rivere du Loup, became the bride of J. Omer Leger, Campbellton, son of Sheriff J.J.Leger and Mrs. Leger, Dalhousie. The ceremony was performed with nuptial mass by Rev. Phillas Roy. The young ladies choir of Rivere du Loup rendered appropriate selections during the ceremony and the signing of the register. The chancel of the church was beautifully decorated with a profusion of early summer flowers and ferns. The bride, who was given in marriage by her brother, J. Dominique Theriault, was gowned in pink-sheer crepe, fashioned on long lines with full skirt. The bodice had a bolera jacket with touches of black on the collar. her halo hat was of pink net and she carried a shower bouquet of tea roses and lilies of the valley. The groom was attended by his father, Sheriff Leger. Following the ceremony a wedding breakfast was served at the home of the bride. Later Mr. and Mrs. Leger left for Montreal, New York, Washington and other United States cities. On their return Mr. and Mrs. Leger will reside in Campbellton, where the groom is a member of the C.N.R. office staff.

    A wedding of local interest took place in St. Bernard's Church Saturday morning at 7 o'clock when the Rev. Father James E. Brown united in marriage Miss Marie Leger, Moncton, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry T. Leger, and Charles Bedford, son of Mr. and Mrs. George Bedford, also of the city. The witnesses were Vincent Hennessey and George Steeves. For the occasion of hte bride wore a beautiful gown of navy blue with white accessories and carried a bouquet of pink and white carnations. Following the ceremony a wedding breakfast was served at the home of the groom's parents, after which the happy couple left on a motor trip to the North Shore of New Brunswick. They will reside in this city. Last evening the young couple were the recipients of many lovely presents when a variety shower was tendered them by friends and relatives at the home of Aubin Arsenaulty, Leger Corner. During the evening dancing was enjoyed and a delightful luncheon was served.

    Rév. Arseneau fit ses études primaires à Petit-Rocher, ses études secondaires à l’Université du Sacré-Coeur de Bathurst, et théologiques à Sacré-Coeur-de-Marie à Halifax. Il a été ordonné sous-diacre à Halifax, le 12 juin 1955, diacre à Halifax, le 17 décembre 1955, et prêtre à Petit-Rocher, le 13 mai 1956. Il a été vicaire à Saint-Raphaël-sur-Mer, nommé le 24 mai 1956, effectif le 4 juin 1956; à Saint-Isidore, nommé le 7 avril 1958, effectif 22 avril 1958; à Caraquet, nommé le 12 avril 1962, effectif le 27 avril 1962; et à Notre-Dame-des-Neiges de Campbellton, le 23 juin 1966, effectif le 7 juillet 1966. Il a été nommé curé de la paroisse de Nicolas-Denys, le 31 août 1968, et à Pointe-Verte, le 21 janvier 1971. Il a été trésorier de la Société de la caisse Saint-Michel, le 15 octobre 1968 et le 15 décembre 1972, il a été nommé aumônier diocésain des guides. Le 20 novembre 1975, il démissionne comme curé de Pointe-Verte pour des raisons de santé. En décembre 1977, il est nommé archiviste du diocèse. En février 1976, il fait un séjour à l’Hôpital de l’Enfant-Jésus à Québec et après une intervention chirurgicale, il est en convalescence pour un temps indéterminé. Le 15 août 1982, il donne sa démission comme archiviste à l’Évêché et va demeurer avec son frère à l’Île-du-Prince-Édouard. En mars 1983, élit domicile chez le père J-Émile Fournier, 2060 promenade Vallée-Lourdes à Bathurst. En juin 1996, il déménage à la résidence Riverside, rue Queen à Bathurst.

    La dépouille mortelle sera exposée de 14h à 16h et de 19h à 21h, ce mardi 25 novembre, à la Chapelle funéraire Verret de Nigadoo. Le corps sera transporté en l’église Saint-Polycarpe de Petit-Rocher, le mercredi 26 novembre, pour y être exposé de 13h30 jusqu’à l’heure des funérailles à 16h.

    Father Leandor Arseneau

    The death of Father Leandor Arseneau of Bathurst occurred Nov. 24, 1997, at the Regional Hospital Centre. He was 68.

    Born on Nov. 21, 1929, in Madran, he was the son of the late Henry P. Arseneau and late Marguerite Lejeune of Madran.

    He did primary studies in Petit-Rocher, then studied at the Sacred Heart University in Bathurst and the completed his theology studies at the Sacre Heart of Marie in Halifax, N.S.

    In Halifax, he became a subdeacon on June 12, 1955, and a deacon on Dec. 17, 1955. He became a priest on May 13, 1965, in Petit-Rocher.

    He was vicar at St-Raphael-Sur-Mer from June 4, 1956, to April 22, 1958; in St.-Isidore on April 22, 1958; in Caraquet on April 27, 1962; and in Notre-Dame des Neiges in Campbellton on July 7, 1966.

    He was named pastor for Nicolas-Denys on August 31, 1968, and for Pointe-Verte on Jan. 21, 1971. He was treasurer for the Société de la caisse St. Michel on Oct. 15, 1968, and was named Girl Guides chaplain on Dec. 15, 1972.

    He stepped down as pastor for Pointe-Verte on Nov.20, 1975, for health reason. In February 1976, he was surgery at the l’Enfant-Jesus hospital in Quebec and slowly recovered. He was archivist for the bishop until on Aug. 15, 1982, and went to Prince Edward Island to live with his brother.

    He moved to the J. Emile Fournier residence on Vallee-Lourdes in March, 1983. He then moved to the Riverside residence on Queen street in June, 1996.

    He is survived by eight brothers, Adrien (Elizabeth Lagace) of Amherst, N.S., Leo (Joanne Burnett), Oil City, Pa., U.S.A., Augustin (Augustine Roy), Villa Chaleur; Edmond (Rose Cloutier), Sarnia, Ont.; Roger (Eleanor Cormier), Truro, N.S.; Gerald (Charlene MacKinnon), Amherst; Raymond (Thelma
    MacKenzie), Dunlop South; and Fernand (Dorina Fournier), Petit-Rocher north; by three sisters, Yvonne Arseneau of Vallee-Lourdes, Patricia (late Heribert Legere) of St.Joseph in Westmorland, and Jeannette (Philippe Roy), Petit Rocher; and by several nephews and nieces, and friends. The remains rested at the Verret Funeral Home on Nov. 25, Viewing is today, Wednesday, Nov. 26, 1997, at 1:30 p.m., which will be followed by funeral mass at 4 p.m.

Elle laisse dans le deuil deux filles: Pauline Dupuis (Michel) et Norma Greene (Gerry) de Moncton; trois fils: Herman (Exelda) et Laurie de Moncton et James (Diane) de Dieppe; six soeurs: Gilberte Smith, Benoîte Lombard, Léonette McLean et Marguerite Maillet, toutes de Moncton, Thérèse Bastarache de Bouctouche et Fernande Leger de Toronto; quatre frères: Gervais (Alida) de Moncton, Elmo (Huguette) et Ulric de Bouctouche et Jean-Paul de Kelowna; neuf petits-enfants: Marcel, Micheline, Stewart, Nicole, Luc, Daniel, Marc, Robert et Denis; trois arrière-petits-enfants: Julien, Jacob et Emma, ainsi que plusieurs nièces et neveux. Un frère, Valérie, l’a précédée dans la tombe. La dépouille mortelle est présentement exposée au Salon funéraire Frenette, 88, rue Church à Moncton (858-1900, www.salonfrenette.com). Les funérailles auront lieu en la Cathédrale Notre-Dame-de-l’Assomption à Moncton, le mercredi 22 décembre, à 11h. L’inhumation se fera au cimetière Notre-Dame-du-Calvaire à Dieppe. Heures de visites: le mardi 21 décembre, de 14h à 16h et de 19h à 21h et le mercredi 22 décembre, de 10h à 10h50.

    Yolande Allain, 84, wife of the late Adelor Allain of King Street, Moncton, passed away Monday, December 20, 2004 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital. Born October 15, 1920 in Bouctouche, she was the daughter of the late Alyre LeBlanc and the late Emma LeBlanc. Yolande had previously worked for Eaton's Catalogue. She is survived by two daughters, Pauline Dupuis (Michel) and Norma Greene (Gerry) of Moncton; three sons, Herman (Exelda) and Laurie of Moncton, James (Diane) of Dieppe; six sisters, Gilberte Smith, Benote Lombard, Léonette McLean and Marguerite Maillet all of Moncton, Thérèse Bastarache of Bouctouche, Fernande Leger of Toronto; four brothers, Gervais (Alida) of Moncton, Elmo (Huguette) and Ulric of Bouctouche, Jean-Paul of Kelowna; nine grandchildren, Marcel, Micheline, Stewart, Nicole, Luc, Daniel, Marc, Robert, Denis; three great-grandchildren, Julien, Jacob, Emma; several nieces and nephews. A brother Valérie predeceased her. Remains resting at Frenette Funeral Home, 88 Church Street, Moncton (8581900). Visiting hours Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., Wednesday from 10 a.m. until time of departure (10:50). The funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 22, 2004 at Our Lady of Assumption Cathedral, Moncton.
