    Stanislas Bourque

    SCOUDOUC, NB - Stanislas Bourque, 82, of Scoudouc, passed away on Friday, March 17, 2006 at The Moncton Hospital, Moncton. Born in Scoudouc, October 21, 1923, he was the son of the late Clément Bourque and the late Elmée LeBlanc. Prior to his retirement, Mr. Bourque worked as a custodian with School District #1. A Veteran during World War II, he served with the Medical Corps in Northern Europe. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, 3rd Degree, Council #10271 in Scoudouc and a member of the Scoudouc Golden Age Club. He is survived by his wife, Alma (Léger) Bourque; two daughters, Rachel King (Wayne) of MacLean Cross Road, Monique Bourque of Memramcook; one son, Clarence (Angèle) of Scoudouc; four sisters, Demerise Boudreau of Moncton, Thérèse Drisdelle of Sussex, Alida LeBlanc (Francis) of Colorado, U.S.A., Rita Rocheleau of Montréal, QC.; two brothers, Léandre and Roger both of Montréal, QC; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Visitation at Frenette Funeral Home Ltd., 396 Main Street, Shediac (532-3297) on Monday, March 20 from 2 to 4p.m. and 7 to 9p.m. and Tuesday, March 21 from 10a.m. until time of departure at 10:40a.m. The Funeral Mass will be held at 11a.m. on Tuesday, March 21, 2006 at Saint-Jacques-le-Majeur Roman Catholic Church, Scoudouc.     David Brun

    SHEDIAC - David Brun, 102, of the Villa Providence, Shediac and formerly of Caissie Cape passed away on Friday, September 27, 1996 at his residence after a brief illness.

    Born Match 12, 1894 in Cap Pelé, he was the son of the late Jadduce and Elizabeth (Babineau) Brun. He was a Farmer, Fisherman and former Proprietor of O'Brien Beach.

    He is survived by two daughters, Yvonne Léger (Paul) of Notre Dame, Geneva Fougère (René) of Waltham, Mass., USA; two sons, Théodule Brun of Shediac Bridge and Emery Brun (Huberte) of Shediac; one sister, Virgine Bourgeois (Léandre) of Shediac; 12 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, Edwina (Pellerin) Brun in 1984; three sisters, Delia, Alvina and Marie; one granddaughter, Sonia Leger in 1994; one grandson, Scott Fougère Powers.

    Resting at Frenette Funeral Home Ltd., 248 Main St., Shediac (532-3297) with visiting hours on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p;m. Funeral mass will be held at La .Visitation Roman Catholic Church Grande Digue on Monday, September 30, 1996 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Yvon Barrieau officiating. Interment in the Parish Cemetery.

    Léo Paul Léger MONCTON -
    À l'Hôpital régional Dr-Georges-L.-Dumont, le vendredi 15 juin 2007, à l'âge de 72 ans, est décédé Léo Paul Léger, domicilié à Moncton, Oakcroft Crescent. Né le 26 mai 1935 à Cocagne, il était fils de feu Irénée Léger et de feu Alba Cormier. Il laisse dans le deuil son épouse depuis 44 ans et 11 mois, Ella (Bourque) Léger; trois fils: Mark et Tom de Waltham, Mass. et Charles de Somerville, Mass.; une soeur, Aline Arsenault de Saint-Antoine; deux frères: Bert Léger (Bernadette) de Cape Cod et Joe Léger (Annette) de Moncton, ainsi que deux petits-enfants: Madeline et Nathalie.

    Highly Esteemed Resident St. Anselme Passed Away After Serious Illness.
    Following an illness of three weeks duration J. Edgar Bourgeois, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ferdinand Bourgeois, St. Anselme, passed away in the Hotel Dieu yesterday morning. Although his condition had been considered serious from the beginning, it was not until a few days ago that it because alarming and death came as a great shock to his immediate family and friends. He was well known throughout the district, where his passing will be deeply mourned by a host of friends. The deceased lived the greater part of his life in St. Anselme, and for the past several years had been engaged in the milk business. He took an active interest in the affairs of the community in which he lived and was highly respected by everyone. A man of fine character, Mr. Bourgeois contributed much to the progress of the district and in his passing the community sustains a severe loss. Mr. Bourgeois is survived by his widow and two children, Jeannette and John Charles. He also leaves his parents, six sisters and five brothers. The sisters are, Mrs. George T. leBlanc, of St. Anselme; Mrs. Osias Richard, of Moncton, and the Misses Estelle, Germaine, Eva and Marguerite, all at home. The brothers are Alban, engineer and the steamship Cavalier; Alfred, of Moncton; Philas, Quincy, Mass.; Camille, at home, and Rene, student at Bathurst College. The funeral will take place Sunday afternoon from the Roman Catholic Church, St. Anselme.
